On today's show, it is National Hunting & Fishing Day so Don is asking everybody, what is the hunting or fishing regulation that you'd like to change if you had the power to do so before fielding reports from a number of guests covering topics ranging from Hurricane Helene has brought some lovely weather to Louisiana, how the Mississippi River fishing is while its low, Grand Isle fishing has been so good, you can find fish just about anywhere. Later on, we break down how what water you are fishing in helps to determine what bait you should use, the latest on all the big tournaments for you paddlers out there, a Bad Boy of the Week that really took our regulation question to heart, before closing things out with some live updates from duck blinds across the state as Teal numbers bounce back from a lackluster week.

This hour, Don doles out the regulations he'd like to change if given the power to do so before hearing from Mike Gallo on finding a good bait to use depending on the power you use, Eric Muhoberac sounds off on all the big kayak tournaments coming up including one later today, a Bad Boys story that involves a serious tongue twister, the "Plastic Man" and Don reminisce about how much they like being in the duck blinds, and Mike Smith gives us some hope about Teal and seriously questions how Louisiana is handling the Mottled duck season.

LA Marsh Guide Service, Mike Smith, joins Don to recap yet another somewhat successful weekend of Teal hunting, how the Mottled duck season should be changed for the overall improvement of the hunting seasons, and where you can go and book a hunting trip with Mike!

Out in the duck blinds, we go to Cajun Fishing Adventure owner, Ryan Lambert, to discuss Teal season as he is back in the blinds, an Alligator hunt with some LSU Tigers out in the wild this past week, why we are seeing a decline of the Mottled ducks but plentiful amount of Wood ducks, and Ryan and Don ruminate on their love for being in the duck blinds, and this upcoming Full moon will be huge for the Fall season.

This week's Bad Boy shows a man who took our regulation question literally.

Eric Muhoberac, from the Louisiana Kayak Company and BCKFC, drops in to give us some of the details on today's tournament, the Redfish Rumble, and Fall N' Tide is coming up next month which is a massive tournament for Hobie World Championship, a note on always keeping your eyes open when out in water since you never know what you may stumble across, and Eric would like to make all kayakers wear PFD's a requirement for his regulation change.

Don gets together with Mike Gallo from AAofLA.com, to talk about finding the "Holy Trinity" first and foremost, using specific colored bait depending on the color of the water and the fish you are looking for, and another World Series Trout preview as they'll be here before you know it!

Don asks a question to his guests and listeners about what is their hunting or fishing regulation that they've liked to see changed the most, Robbie Campo from Campo's Marina joins us to recap how the week behind us was a little slow but should pick up with nice weather brought in by Hurricane Helene, Nat'l Hunting and Fishing Day is today and with that there a lot of celebrations going on across the state, Mitch Jurisich owner of Delta Marina and Plaquemines Parish Councilmember, on how the fishing has been along the Mississippi, and Daryl Carpenter over in Grand Isle from Reel Screamers Guide Service, tells us how fish are so plentiful the real hurdle will simply be deciding where to go!
