Book Quote: "You know exactly where you want to go....Begin now believing that you are going to reach your goal. Hold this picture in your conscious mind until by a process of mental and spiritual osmosis, the image of your goal sinks into your subconscious. At that point you will have it; for it will have you, all of you. ....Continue to make friends. Practice loving people....People who love people go far in this world, believe me."

Fall is my favorite season of the year and I have so many ideas for cozy self-care ideas. I was raised in Michigan and lived there until my early 20's. Each year I looked forward to the crisp, cool air, the crunchy leaves and the changing colors. Michigan has a beautiful fall season and self-care was as easy as taking a walk around the block.
But, now I live in south Texas. There's not much of a Fall feeling over here. The mornings and days are hot. So, I have to create opportunities to feel the Fall season and today I'm sharing a Fall themed bucket list full of self-care ideas.
I hope you'll take time for yourself this season and participate in as much self-care as you can. Follow along on Instagram and share what you're doing to get some cozy self-care in this season.

I've lived the hardest days this year as a working mom/virtual mom-teacher/cook/meal-prepper/grocery deliverer/wife/housekeeper/chef/EVERY OTHER ROLE US MOMS HAVE.
The Covid 19 Pandemic added an extra layer of stress topped with a sprinkle of anxiety to overworked moms everywhere. Then virtual learning happened.
The moms I know are exhausted, depressed, tired of being home with the kids and at the same time grateful to have their kids home safe. These moms are pissed when their husband's don't understand that helping out around the house is more than doing 1 load of laundry.
The husband's don't have to put themselves on mute to yell at the kids during a meeting. They don't have to worry about how low their productivity is at work now that the kids are home full time. They don't have to stop working multiple times a day to make meals, clean messes, referee fights or log into Google classrooms.

I had a meltdown a few weeks ago.
I got sick of being the only one cooking, cleaning, meal prepping, working full-time plus doing everything for the kids AND working a side hustle.
I felt run down, exhausted, disrespected and quite frankly, depressed.
I know this pandemic has moms everywhere feeling anxiety and feeling run down. So if you feel like that too, please know you're not alone!
Listen to today's episode for tips on how to prevent the meltdowns!
