Whether you've been dating for a few months or you've been married for 20 years, the decision to stay in the relationship or end it can be confusing and painful.
Your brain goes crazy with soooo many thoughts....
I wish there was some sort of quiz I could point you to where you would answer a series of questions and it would tell you the “right thing” to do but life is far more complicated than that.
What I can do, though, is share five very specific things you may not have thought of yet that will help make the decision of whether to stay or go a little less complicated.

What is Love? It sounds like a pretty obvious questions but it's easy to get caught up in your thoughts and feelings. It's easy to lose sight of your boundaries, your values, your dreams.
In today's episode, we're discussing four truths that might be hard for some of you to swallow, but you NEED to hear this:
1. Sex is not love.
2. Obligation is not love.
3. Fear is not love.
4. Comfort is not love.
And I'm going to tell you exactly what to do if your mind gets jumbled up and forgets everything you know about what love is AND what it isn't.

In the last episode, we talked about why it's not essential to love yourself in order to love someone else, but before you can have the kind of love you want and deserve, you DO have to be a happy, healthy and whole person.
In this episode, we're exploring what that means, how to know if you already are a HHWP and why it's so important. I'll also tell you why identifying your negative core beliefs (discussed in Episode #7) is the crucial first step and what to do once you've identified them.

We've all heard it said before: "You have to love yourself before you can love someone else."
But is that really true?
Today on Quest for Love, I'm debunking that myth and telling you why KNOWING yourself and ACCEPTING yourself are even more important than LOVING yourself.
And I'm sharing exactly what I did to get to the place where I truly knew and accepted myself and how it will change the game for you.

"Catfish" are never short on targets because there are so many men and women out there who are desperate to feel loved, appreciated, special, worthy and less crappy than they feel right now. If you don't know how to give that to yourself, you're likely looking for it from someone else.
There are so many other reasons we do what we do but usually it's because we want to think or feel a certain way or because we want to be different in some way or change certain aspects of our life.
In this episode were talking about how getting into a relationship for the "wrong" reasons can lead to suffering and how to know if you're looking for love for the "right" reasons.

There's something you're still holding onto that you need to let go of so you can move into the new year with a clean slate. What is it?
Forgiveness is the only way to clean up all the old junk in your house that is no longer serving you so you can make room for love and light.
Forgiveness does not mean letting someone off the hook, releasing them from natural consequences or saying that what they did was ok. Forgiveness just means you realize that you can't move forward in your life until you made a decision to let this go.
In this episode I'll help you see why the real problem now isn't what happened to you, it's the story you keep telling yourself about it, what you're making it mean and the way you're allowing it to become your identity.
We'll also discuss the benefits of forgiveness and the four things that make forgiveness easier - feeling your feelings, stopping blame, making a conscious decision to move forward and focusing on the present.
This podcast will be a game-changer no matter who or what you want to move on from in the new year!

No matter who you are or how you feel about yourself, there is always room for improvement when it comes to self-esteem, self-worth and self-value.
When you believe that you are worthy and valuable just as you are - that you don't have to say the right things to do the right things or be the right things to prove your worth - everything changes, especially your relationships!
Dr. Christina Hibbert explains: “Self-esteem is what we think and feel and believe about ourselves. Self-worth is recognizing ‘I am greater than all of those things.’ It is a deep knowing that I am of value, that I am loveable, necessary to this life, and of incomprehensible worth.”
So why don’t we all just feel that way automatically?
One of the biggest blocks to self-esteem is "Negative Core Beliefs." These are the the negative thinking patterns we all have about yourselves, other people and the world. They come from society, our parents, things that have happened to us and our own brains. And until we become aware of them, they sabotage us every step of the way.
In this podcast, I teach you about negative core beliefs and help you identify some of yours. I also help you see the ways you are relying on external circumstances (or people) for your self-esteem and how that is working against you. Finally, I give you tips you can start putting into practice now in order to change your negative self-talk and improve your self-esteem.
