VERY IMPORTANT NOTE: I only realized this memory had been repressed, because I’ve been accused every day for the last month of working FOR the police. The truth is I never told my father what those officers in Volusia County did. He’d have probably found and killed them or definitely done something in the legal realm, AT THE VERY LEAST. Very important I clarify: he did his best to solve every problem I ever brought to him, there were quite a few (too many, ultimately) problems I faced and never had the courage to allow him in, to allow him to guide me through… He always gave the best advice, if I’d let him.
On Police:…. It’s been 30 years: I have yet to see an officer (ok, other than DAVID MULLRY IN YARMOUTH MAINE) solve a problem. They seem to ALL be insecure, irrational, prone to making ASSUMPTIONS, entirely too confident asserting THEMSELVES and THEIR OPINIONS, and I really just have to wonder WHAT OATH they really took, who did they swear to protect? On GOD I know it wasn’t you or me, or they’d drive around with kindness and respect. They’d behave considerately and KNOW we are all one. Red team (fire department) PLEASE send em your cliff notes.
