When you find yourself in need, and you call upon the name of the Lord, do you have assurance that he is going to respond to that time of trouble that you're going through? What we're going to do in this study is to look at things that you and I can do, in order that we can have confidence that when we call upon the name of the Lord, He will hear and he will respond and deliver us from those things that trouble us to get your Bible and look with me to the book of Psalms.

This is our series on biblical numerology. And in this edition, we're going to look at the number five. And what I'm going to share with you might surprise you, because you're going to hear something very different than most believers teach. But before we deal with the number five, allow me to share this with you. To me, it is very disappointing. To see how both Judaism and Christianity handle the Word of God, I see a great lack of respect, and numerous violations of the laws of biblical interpretation.

Well, as I have shared with you, in our call to worship, we are going to be dealing with this concept of Jubilee and Hebrew yo Ville. And as I also shared a few minutes ago, that word yeoville, according to the Bible relates to liberty and freedom. And in order to have such freedom and liberty, we need to learn how to trust God in all things.

When we look at God's Word, we need to have respect for it. And part of demonstrating respect for the Word of God is understanding how the Word of God needs to be interpreted, needs to be understood. See, we need to realize that that scripture oftentimes work together in order to give us a greater understanding of God's mind, so that we can perceive his truth and be willing to respond to it.

In the Scripture, we find that the seventh month, according to the biblical Biblical calendar, is a special month. Now this seventh month because of the number seven, it relates to holiness, sanctification, and we can summarize that very easily with the word purpose relating to the purposes of God. And we're going to see in the future, how God teaches us truth through these holidays so that we will be ready for what he or is going to do.

One of the reasons why I liked Psalm 119 so much is because of the emphasis on the word of God. And we're going to learn a principle and that is this. When we obey the instructions of God's the commandments of God, the laws of God, we're going to see that God will speak to us and give us additional revelation, in order that we can learn not only what he wants us to do in a general sense, meaning what He wants His people to do, but what he wants you to do personally, obedience to the Word of God has many benefits.

There is a problem with a large segment of the Christian community. And that is when they hear the law and the commandments of Moses. They have a negative impression of that. And they want to run to verses that say we're not under the law and how they interpret it is this, the Law no longer has relevance for me because I've accepted the grace of God.

In this study, I like to share with you a portion from the book of Luke, that has really impacted my life. It has taught me how to make wise decisions, and most people are the same, left to ourselves without God's revelation. Without the Holy Spirit leading you, you will certainly make poor decisions and realize that there is an enemy, that he wants you to make poor decisions.

I want to begin by sharing something personal about me. And that is most of the time and listen carefully. Didn't say all the time, but most of the time. I know what God expects from me. And you say That's wonderful, well, not in its entirety. Why? Just because we know what God wants from us doesn't mean necessarily, that we're going to carry it out.

We are indeed called to be deferred to be separated. And part of that ability to live out this unique call in our life is to discern those things that are holy, discern them from those things that are not. And we're going to see an example from the priests, they are called to live in a unique way, in a distinct way. And we can learn from this passage, insight, wisdom principles, that we need to apply to our life so that we are indeed, those who reflect and bear witness to the holiness and the glory and the righteousness of the kingdom of God.
