Lozen was a Chihenne Apache two-spirited person who broke down gender barriers to become both a healer and a warrior. Her inspirational leadership, total badassery, and mystical powers of detecting enemy forces saved countless Apache lives. Dahteste was a beautiful woman from the Chokonen Apache who was also an incredible fighter and skilled negotiator. When the two of them met under Geronimo's leadership, they found a deep love that thrived in the face of violence and deception from the US Army.
