Drawing from Luke 4, we encounter Jesus returning to his hometown synagogue in Nazareth, where he boldly declares that the ancient prophecy of Isaiah 61 is being fulfilled right before their eyes. The invitation for us today is clear: we can know the Word of God without knowing the God of the Word, but true discipleship requires humble obedience when our hearts are exposed.
