When a plant outgrows its environment, its roots can become tightly knotted.

This week, we're taking a look at how we engage with social media.

It's important for us to take stock in the degree to which our media interactions are adding to or subtracting from our lives.

We're continuing our discussion on self-management and self-disciplined. This week, we're looking at task orientation, and we're working on setting up simple practices to help us reach our goals.

We're looking at self-management and self-discipline this week. We've previously discussed finding passion and purpose. Now, we're going to break down one of our goals. There's always a price to pay, and success often means sacrifice. We're going to consider what it will really take to achieve and live in our dreams.

Heroes need obstacles. It's the challenges that make the story. Don't shy away from hardship; it only exists to reveal the hero within.

We're continuing our focusing on self-awareness and self-perception from last week. In class, we're talking about our personal stories. By examining our lives, we can begin to set a course for the next chapter.

For the next two weeks, we're revisiting self-awareness. Specifically, we're discussing self-perception, and how our experiences impact who we are and how we view ourselves.

We're taking a look at our personal stories by exploring experiences that have impacted who we are. We're identifying "chapters" of our lives, so we can better understand where we are and where we might go.

Our lives are comprised of seasons. There are cold, bleak winters filled with obstacles and pain, but the winters lead to spring. Those challenging periods are necessary for growth.
