Welcome back, to the currently trending office podcast of corporate America.............
How else could we name an episode? There's no way we could pass up the opportunity to name this after JLo's Ex-Husband right? We have a packed show this week and we hope you're ready. The big wigs of organizations getting off enforcing their own policies, Frank (the Canadian) may or may not know about Canadian Thanksgiving, Jarrid's MLB status report exceeds the one minute time frame, and Ralph has a difficult time saying 'Jonathan Taylor'.
Clock out for lunch, crack open a beer, and lend us your ears this week, on Lunch Beers.
We have one question: Who chews yogurt?......weird inquiry but we have to ask.
This episode is brought to you by HP: "where terrible technology ruins your sales funnel." After a small hiatus from the studio, the boys are back in full swing and loaded with good laughs and content. Frank and Nick, yet again, have their hearts broken by the NY Giants, Jarrid breaks down the entire MLB in one minute, and Eli's artist of the week is so catchy, that he's left speechless. So punch out that timecard, crack open that IPA, and lend us your ears this week, on Lunch Beers.
From his first contract written on a napkin, to the world stage winning multiple trophies, the crew deemed it was a necessity to dedicate this episode to Luis lionel Andres Messi (runner up, was Larry Fitzgerald........yikes).
With Nicky Q FINALLY back, the boys are ready to go this week. Office Talk gets a little steamy with Frank; Jarrid and Nick have a riveting debate on hot dogs; and Eli schmoozes his way around with Football Team facing the Giants. Fantasy talk gets spicey when Fade Kosa loses to Kosa week 1, and the entire crew is ready for Week 2 and ready to pull a dub for the team. So clock-out, sit back, and lend us your ears this week, on Lunch Beers.
Oh, and Troy may have redeemed himself with the beer of the week.
Dedication is just one of the many qualities Eli Manning has, so we figured we would simply dedicate #10 to the future Hall of Famer.
Nicky Q has been working overtime and unfortunately couldn't make it to the studio this week to share his love and passion for the NY Giants with Brother Frank, so you just have to settle with Ralph. Frank returns to the US of A from his homeland up north, and boy, are we glad to have him drinking dairy from a jug again. With Ralph taking interviews and meetings for potential employment, candidate assessments have him in a funk. Eli can't get over how bad the beer referral we received was and throws us a much needed underground artist to listen too. It's only right that we pay our respects to Jarrid, because while writing this episode's bio, Gus Edwards is most likely out for the season due to a practice ACL tear (insane) and the Ravens are struggling to keep players off the IR. So sit back, shotgun that Miller Lite, and lend us your ears this week, on Lunch Beers
Gentlemen, keep your ladies on a tight leash because this episode is dedicated to Joe "Mr. Steal Your Girl" Burrow. Anyone with an IQ above 30 knows that Joe's football skill + sex appeal makes him a prime time candidate for this and we're proud to see the former LSU QB crush the field as a Bengal.
With Nicky Q out this time around, Ralph takes his place and handles his own email tough guy (girl). The Mets, yet again, are letting A LOT of fans down, and the Yanks are just yanking the emotional chain of their supporters. The NFL preseason comes to a close and the Lunch Beers Fantasy Draft commences. Rumor has it, the loser of this years fantasy league will have to sing the National Anthem at their old High School's season opener, so you don't want to miss that. Sit back, shotgun that 10% IPA, and lend us your ears during your lunch hour, this week, on Lunch Beers.
What better way to name an episode, than to name it after the 8th Wonder of the World. We pay our respects to the legendary Black Mamba: Kobe Bryant. The boys are back. And lemme tell ya, back with some absolute heat. So much heat, the we had to cut out some parts due to the risk of people potentially getting fired (it's that crazy).
With everything currently happening in the world, masks seem to be the one thing no one is in agreeance with. Office policies get discussed, the email tough guy returns, and month end has EVERYONE in an aggressive mood. Football is right around the corner so we'll be honest; a majority of our episodes from now until February will be geared towards America's favorite sport. Crack open those IPAs, lend us your ears for an hour, and listen to us vent on this episode of Lunch Beers.
As much as we may HATE the birds, we will still pay some respects to the greats especially when they’re dog lovers…………..
MusikFest has Nicky Q feeling good when Frankie and Jarrid are back in the studio. Drinking some quality brew, Jarrid reminisces on the old school WWE video games and resents running product demos for clients that get off to insulting and disrespecting sales jobs. With the NFL season on the horizon, football is getting the boys more excited than R Kelly at the Kids Choice Awards and with the season fast approaching, some NFL futures get touched on.
Jarrid lays down some great betting knowledge, but the boys decided that due to his passion for sports (and his potty mouth), this episode should be listened to with extreme caution. So clock out for lunch, crack open that nice Peroni, and vent with us this week, on Lunch Beers.
What better way to please Eli than to name this episode after a living legend. With Jarrid pitching no hitters in his rec league and Frankie slaving away at his desk for some well deserved OT, this is as good as it's going to get.
We're hyped about Musikfest and if you haven't been to it, you should consider driving, flying, or taking a cab to witness it. Beer, music and good vibes? What's not to like. The boys touch base on the office policies of implementing masks (once again) and being in the office, Lebron and Anthony on the Lakers is actually kind of ridiculous, and Nick is back at it again with his damn crab cakes. Sit back, crack open an LB, and talk some sh*t with us.
Yeah...we're not going to get too much into the episode title. It is what it is and if you know sports and live anywhere outside of the cheesesteak capital of the world, you understand why it pains us to name this episode how we did.
With Nicky Q back in the cubicle dungeon working as a corporate slave, the return to office is still leaving the boys with their/there/they're (?) panties in a bunch. Jarrid just about had enough of the dial up connection in the office and resorts back to the barbaric days of selling and uses the desk phone. Ralph STILL has 0 luck with monitors, headset, or office equipment, but with Frank's infinite supply of company coffee mugs and water bottles, the solution is made that free plastic is more important than working office equipment. Eli's Email Tough Guy returns and the guys touch base on the Olympics. I can promise ya, you don't want to miss this therapy session. Crack open the ol' Peroni with these jabronis, and sip your troubles away.
HAVE NO FEAR; there's no unsolicited peepee pics here! We salute this episode to the legendary Cheesehead himself, Brett Favre. The boys return to the office for the first time in over a year and we discuss how to deal with email tough guys, lunch dumps, and adapting to the office. Oh, and apparently Nicky Q dropped a water bottle, was pronounced dead for a moment, and then quit his job.? Help us unfold the truth this week with your much needed, well deserved, Lunch Beer.
Let us know what you think! If you find our content entertaining on your morning commute to your cubicle dungeon, leave us a rating and share with your other inmates. Don't worry, there's no HR here.
