Lunch with Pippa Hudson episodes

  • Classic music for cows

As a human, I bet you responded to that piece by slowing down a little, breathing a little deeper and feeling just a tiny bit calmer. I’d put money on it.

But what would happen if you played that piece to animals? It’s a question our next guest wondered about, so much so that she decided to make it the subject of her Masters research. And if you’re going to work with the Moooooonlight Sonata then of course you’re going to test it out on cows, right?

  • Legal Talk – Deeds Office and POPI

Earlier this month Jenny emailed me with the following query:

On 7 March I received an unsolicited call from a Durban-based life insurance company – before she could proceed with her sales pitch, I asked her where she got my name and number from. She replied that it was obtained from the Deeds Office, and even proceeded to tell me when I had last purchased a property. How is this compliant with Protection of Personal Information Act?

  • Cookbook author Sarah Graham

I’m so excited to welcome our next guest today because I have been a fan of her cooking ever since her first recipe book called Bitten came out in 2012. If you open up my copy at home you will see that it is well used – from the tomato tart to the Moroccan banana pancakes, the sesame peanut chicken, the carrot and coriander soup and the wonderfully named “why he married me bacon pasta”, those pages are properly splattered and that’s a sure sign that I’ve come back to those recipes time and again.
