Joining us on the Couch today, is an incredibly talented lady by the name of Isabella Jane. At only 24 this dynamic young lady has accomplished so many wonderful things – she was a runner up of SOUTH AFRICA’S GOT TALENT as a singer/ventriloquist/comedienne. She won a Fleur du Cap Award for her performance in the world tour of Andrew Lloyd Webbers Evita and now she is creating a role in an original South African musical inspired by the life of Elizabeth Klarer.

You’ve probably guessed from listening that Book Club is my favourite feature on the show, so I made an executive decision that I wasn’t going to miss the chance to share the final edition with you and hear YOUR input on your favourite books this year. A big thank you to all of you who sent in voicenotes musing on your 2022 reading – our team had a lot of fun listening to them, and a really difficult time narrowing down the list to decide which ones we would play on air. In the end we’ve gone for a mix of fiction and non-fiction in the hopes that almost everyone will find at least one of the recommendations appealing.
And after we’ve played them out, we’ll announce which of those voicenote senders has won our big book hamper, valued at R6500.
