Daniah de Villiers has been working in the entertainment industry for six years and is best-known as Trudie in Binnelanders, presenter of the kykNET series, Dierepraters and for her outstanding acting in acclaimed films like Mia and the White Lion and Nul is Nie Niks Nie. But now, the talented young 18-year-old woman from Cape Town is not resting on her laurels. She's trying her hand at music as well, having recently released her debut single. Her pop single, titled GOLD which she wrote herself, is about discovering what really matters in life.

A music video of this unique song is also available. Produced by Josh Farrer and Martin McCarthy, the video was filmed at various locations in and around Gordon’s Bay. The idea was to emphasise the message of the song and capture what matters most.
