Michael M Hughes https://www.michaelmhughes.com/ joins Luxa https://linktr.ee/LuxaStrata to share about experiences surrounding the ritual he created to bind the reality TV star the US elected as president in 2016 and which ended up being propelled to viral fame, becoming the largest magical working in history. There’s some great stuff about the history of the Tarot and Micheal’s courses in the subject, with some debunking of popular myths (spoiler alert, it’s not from Ancient Egypt, but that doesn’t make it any less cool or interesting). Also explored are the intersections of the Trickster, the and the Magician archetypes, and what this might have to do with the stage magician, the “sacred trap” and more.

During a break Luxa shares about The Green Sphere https://docs.google.com/document/d/e/2PACX-1vQsi-sqCg1RgxZWbePZ7-boZ1k0Xknnpgbzof31_KNtfegkMgLXcqGK1pZQfNm4m35xmOXKhNPm_S3t/pub, a protection and healing ritual you can take part in on June 8th, 2024; as well as a few books from The Green Mushroom Hyphosigil Project’s 23:Bibliomancy scripture https://greenmushroomproject.com/category/23bibliomancy/, Mushroom updates, listener mail and more! Much Love.

Douglass Batchelor of the ‘What Magic is This?’ podcast https://whatmagicisthis.com/ joins Luxa https://linktr.ee/LuxaStrata for a discussion about the phenomena and the conversations surrounding government disclosure about “non-human intelligences”, etc. from a perspective which is informed by an occult or magical practice. What does it look like when a new religion is being born? Who might benefit? What’s really going on with the strange lights we’ve been seeing in the sky throughout human history? These topics and more are explored. Douglass, being an occultist and life-long enthusiast (and experiencer) of the phenomena has done extensive research into various aspects of it and offers some valuable and useful perspectives. There’s a sound magic track inspired by the strange events reported at Rendlesham Air Force Base on the nights of December 26-28th, 1980 and features audio recorded by Lt Col Charles Halt at that time. There is also a spicy poetry snack from from FAFO Pt. 2, The Green Mushroom Project https://greenmushroomproject.com/ & We The Hallowed  https://wethehallowed.org/ digital mixtape, and an update about upcoming events for the Mushroom Project. Psychoanalyst, author, artist, occultist and host of Rendering Unconscious, Dr. Vanessa Sincalir https://www.instagram.com/rawsin_/ joins Luxa https://linktr.ee/LuxaStrata to talk about the cut-up technique and how it can be applied in one’s magical practice. Dr. Sinclair shares some advice about magical praxis and about some of her experiences having a foot in multiple worlds, and she and Luxa demonstrate the cut-up technique by producing a cut-up poem together during the interview.

Derek Hunter shares about his new book, Anonymous Agnostic Antichrists  which looks at how the work attributed to William Shakespeare might have actually been the result of a large group of what Derek calls Renaissance era punk rockers- playwrights, poets and thinkers who operated on the margins of what was acceptable at the time.  Hear more from FAFO Pt. 2, The Green Mushroom Project https://greenmushroomproject.com/ & We The Hallowed  https://wethehallowed.org/ digital mixtape, and an update about The Green Mushroom Project and Project Spex- a new pop-magic working thematically based on the 1988 John Carpenter film, “They Live”. Also included is a special listener track by The Tom O’Bedlam. Much Love!
