Eric J. Millar https://substack.com/@ngbmo joins Luxa https://linktr.ee/LuxaStrata to share some philosophical outlooks on the creation process, what it means to be a magician in the machine and about his newest book, WOMBAT. Despite the title, which stands for Waste Of Money, Brains, And Time, WOMBAT is a very cool collection of creative curiosity ranging from sculptural comics to blackout prose, surreal collages to asemic writing experiments. For the episode w/ in the episode, Mme. Vendredi https://www.instagram.com/mmvndri/ (who is NOT a hitwoman) shares some fascinating perspectives about working as a magician for hire and about the many considerations that go into performing magic on a professional basis. There are tracks from FAFO pt. 2, The Green Mushroom Project https://greenmushroomproject.com/ & We The Hallowed  https://wethehallowed.org/ digital mixtape. Also hear news about The Green Mushroom Project and Project Spex, a new pop-magic working thematically based on the 1988 John Carpenter film, They Live. Project Spex will be formally initialized with the “All Out of Bubblegum” ceremony on Jan. 19th, 2024 on The Green Musheen Discord Server.  Much Love!

Dave Ardrey of Unearthing Paranormalcy podcast https://www.unpnormalcy.com/, The the Ancient Order of Druids in America https://aoda.org/ and The Green Mushroom Project https://greenmushroomproject.com/ joins Luxa https://anchor.fm/luxa-strata to talk about Mycocultus, a project which explores core concepts found in neophyte or beginner work from mystery schools and other related traditions, and reinterprets it in the context of mushroom symbology. A bit of a crash course, exploring with broad strokes some common concepts which we find in a lot of esoteric traditions, as well as looking at how these concepts are interpreted in the Mycocultus working. Rocket https://www.instagram.com/eyeandy/ joins Luxa https://linktr.ee/LuxaStrata to talk about Spinoza, Pantheism, the idea of a Transcendent vs. an Immanent divine (and what that translates into for humans). What does this look like when religious philosophy is translated into political doctrine? We also talk about Kabbalah (with a K), and why the Mysteries (with a capital M) must be experienced somatically rather than cognitively. Rocket shares about Jewish Mysticism, the upcoming Trans Rite of Ancestor Elevation https://trans-rite.tumblr.com/ their work with Agdistis and some of the mythology surrounding the godform whose gender was just too much for the Olypians (and how this ties into they mythology surrounding Dionysis). There’s a a tasty poetry snack created via cut-ups and gematria by Keats Ross of We the Hallowed https://wethehallowed.org/ which was used to find the track order for the audio offerings of Fuck Around and Find Out pt. 2 the digital mixtape (of which tracks are featured). There are also updates about the Green Mushroom Hyphosigil Project https://greenmushroomproject.com/. Much Love!

Luxa https://linktr.ee/LuxaStrata is joined by Laurel to talk about her Catholic Saints practice, which she does outside of the purview of the Church in a Chaos Magic context, working directly with the Saints rather than involving “big G” god. She shares about how the Saints appear differently in different cultures, and about some of the family traditions with which she grew up. How do you begin working with a given Saint? Laurel provides some great tips and advice about getting started! Also included is a discussion of the new Druidry journals she’s created which others can use to do work with the seasons, plants, animals and more. There are several tracks from FAFO part 2: The Green Mushroom Project and We the Hallowed Digital Mixtape (available Oct. 31, 2023) as well as tentacle poetry from the two grand prize winners of the cryptography and poetry contest. There’s an update about The Green Mushroom Project and “Pirate’s Reveille: Let Your Freak Flag Fly”, the ceremony celebrating the 3rd anniversary of the project’s founding (Oct. 31, 2023- 8PM EST on The Green Musheen Discord Server), and more! Luxa https://linktr.ee/LuxaStrata speaks with JS Groves http://jsgroves.com/, about some of the many irons xi has in the fire, creatively and magically. JS shares about working with the Picatrix and using planetary elections to make talismanic jewelry, and the process and rationale that xi uses in this work. We talk about the god, Dionysus, and modern Dionysiiac worship, some of the exploits of the KC Pagan arts collective, and thoughts and advice about conducting public ritual.

For the episode w/in the episode Luxa sits down with the host of the Great Game by Art Worldbuilding podcast https://www.instagram.com/art.worldbuilding/, for a very heady conversation about identity and the touchstones we use when trying to wrap our arms around it. Who are you, and what are you up to? There are legions of devils hiding in the details when we begin to meditate on these seemingly simple questions! Luxa shares a safe-for-work clip from the upcoming album, VOID/Machine: Adjustment, as well pieces from the cryptography and poetry contest, updates about The Green Mushroom Hyphosigil Project and more. Much Love!
