A broadcast career that spans 33 years which covered much of the eastern half of the country has given Brian Rust a unique ability to talk with people, a skill that he is again putting to good use. After joining Magic Broadcasting in 2006 as the company’s Director of Programming and Operations, Brian left the company to pursue other adventures but the itch to do talk radio again was too much to ignore and now can be heard every weekday morning from 5 am-8 am on “The Brian Rust Show”. Brian is a former candidate for Bay County Commission and has been in love with Bay County since 2007. Brian’s style is straightforward, a little blunt with a hint of sarcasm and a whole lot of laughter.

WE'RE CAM AND LIZ. At the very core of who we are, is the strong belief that love is more than a feeling, but rather, an action. True, sacrificial love is something to be celebrated and cherished! Elizabeth and I had one of those "knew the moment we saw each other" moments over 10 years ago, and we've been growing in love since as we strive to serve each other to the best of our ability. While our journey together hasn't always been easy, our love is rooted and established in Jesus, which is ultimately where we find our hope and faith.

A songwriter’s songwriter, Marc Jordan is best known for writing (along with John Capek) “Rhythm of My Heart,” the 1991 smash for Rod Stewart. Marc’s songs have been recorded by Bonnie Raitt, Joe Cocker, Diana Ross, Cher, Chicago, Bette Midler, Natalie Cole, Kenny Loggins, Kim Carnes and the Manhattan Transfer, to name a few.

Beside releasing her own successful albums and singles, Sky, 62, has written for a host of A-listers; several collaborations with Olivia Newton-John stand out as career highlights.

This debut stab at joining musical forces has both forged fresh takes on classics and introduced new, original compositions.

Covers include Tom Petty’s Free Fallin’, The Beach Boys’s God Only Knows and Bonnie Raitt’s You.

Choosing material was not an exercise in exact science.

“It was more trial and error,” Sky said. “One or the other of us would come up with ideas and what we tried to do was not just do the songs you normally think of as duets, but try and find songs that stylistically blend in with both of us and have some relevance to our history, and then try to make it into a duet.”

Duets may sound like sweet musical magic to the masses’ untrained ears. Hearing how the sausage is actually made lends fresh perspective. Terms and phrases, such as “accommodating range” and “the challenge of singing into each other’s phrasing,” crop up when Sky is quizzed about the often-tedious recording process and its “challenges.”

“You have to be humble. Because it’s not, ‘My way or the highway.’ It’s definitely a collaboration.”

Dr Robert Howard Explains
According to a recent survey by the Cleveland Clinic, “physician-dodging” is a disturbing status quo for men between the ages of 35 and 54. Only 43% of that middle-aged cohort reported seeing their doctors for annual physicals. That percentage increases as men get older — when serious illnesses pretty much compel them to see a professional — but even then, it’s treated as a last resort, and many of the patients aren’t on their best behavior. In the study, 65% of respondents said they avoid going to the doctor as long as possible.

When they do go, over a quarter of them customarily withhold information from their doctors. Some even admitted to years of lying to their doctors, in fear of hearing a dreaded diagnosis.

We have a passion for entertaining and wanted to turn our interest into something we could share with others.  This creative project has been a thoughtfully collaborative family effort.

After months of research, we found a vintage horse trailer and completely remodeled it into a fully functional mobile bar. We spent months working together to make our bar perfect.  It was important to us for our services to separate us from the rest. As a family, we were able to turn our vision into a reality with every little detail being considered. The renovation itself has been an exciting journey and we can’t wait to share it with you!
