An expensive day at the spa shouldn't be the only time you can enjoy sipping on cucumber infused water. This whole show has been based on feeling luxurious when you take time for self-care. Right after marriage all couples can attest that there is one question everyone tends to ask you is, "When are you two gonna have a baby?".

Today I share my personal story, from my IUD, to irregular cycle, to our goals and perfect scenario. As a 34 year old as of Monday (July 4th Firecracker Baby) we clearly don't have time on our side, but I do believe the universe will have my back. Whatever we are granted will be and I'm okay with that. When that will be I don't know. But I do share our timeline goals on today's episode.

Douglas and I have talked about many scenario outcomes and how we would go through each of them. I do highly recommend that you talk to your partner and keep a streamline of conversation about your wants and your fears. 

We all have our own personal journeys and this is a wild time right now to talk about reproduction but I think it's better to share than keep quiet. We are all going through something when wanting to expand a family.

Life is full of highs but it's also full of lows. If we didn't have both, life would be redundant. With Douglas gone and coming off the high of the wedding, I'm working on self-care tips for myself as I navigate through my current day to day. Not just jam packing my time with activities while he's gone. But actually take my time to be alone, reflect and come off the high of the wedding.

This weeks pre-summer storms, made me realize that overworking yourself can be like humidity, and if you don't make time for self care that humidity will take over and pour all over your timeline. This was a good reminder to prioritize self care in our schedules. In order for creativity to bloom and grow, you need some unplanned moments. Some time to just be so things can evolve. I just want you to know you are not alone. So take the time to prioritize self care.
