Neighbors

Do you have neighbors? Are your neighbors nice and helpful? My neighbors are very kind. They often come over my house and share foods with my family. At weekends, we gather together and enjoy our barbecues. If my car is broken, my neighbors are happy to give me a ride to work in the morning. My neighbors never play loud music in the evenings. Sometimes their dogs bark at mid-night, but I don’t think it is a big problem. I love my neighbors.

My friend

My friend is Jessica. She’s my best friend, and she’s also my sister! She’s fantastic, and she’s single. OK, what can I tell you about Jessica? Well, she’s 31 years old and she lives in London. She’s a nurse, and she works at night, so she doesn’t have a lot of time to meet new people. She likes eating out, cooking, reading, listening to Pop music. She loves football, it’s her favorite sport. She doesn’t like shopping or loud music. She doesn’t smoke.

Hospital

Hospital is a scary place. People are often afraid of going to hospitals. People only visit hospitals when they are sick, or someone they know has health problems. Some people cannot stand the smell in hospitals. I have been to the hospital once. 2 years ago I had a terrible headache. And my sister took me to the hospital for a check-up. The doctor was very enthusiastic and carefully checked my head. 2 days after, my head was OK and I got back to normal. I hope I will never have to visit hospital again.

Good health

What should we do to have good health? It’s the question many people want to get the answer. If you want to maintain good health, you should exercise regularly. You can go to the gym or go walking in the park. Getting enough sleep keeps you fresh and focused. You should eat healthy foods, like fish, vegetables and fruit. You should avoid junk foods, or unhealthy foods, like fries, candy, or noodles. You should stay away from drugs, cigarettes and alcohols. They are the number one enemy of your health.

Calculations

Do you know how to calculate numbers? I can calculate numbers very well. I learned how to calculate when I was very young. What is two plus two? The answer is four, of course. How about twenty three minus eleven, mm.., the answer is twelve. Addition and subtraction are so easy. Multiplication and division are more difficult. What is three times six? Three times six equals eighteen. How about thirty two divided by four? Thirty two divided by four equals eight. You see, calculations are not very difficult.

What is the most visited website in the world? It’s Google. Google is a search engine, or a search website where you can find information about almost everything. You just need to type in what you want to know and Google will automatically show you the best results. Google is super fast. It takes Google less than 1 second to get you the information you need. A lot of companies are using Google to advertise their products. And a lot of people are making money from Google.

LIES

Have you ever told a lie? The person who lies is a liar. Do you think liars are bad? There are different situations when people have to lie. Some people lie because they have done something wrong and they want to hide it. Some people lie because they do not want to hurt the listeners with the truth. Lies can make people feel better or worse. Some lies are acceptable and some lies are not. I believe it’s always better to tell the truth.

Knowledge is something we never have enough. There is a lot of knowledge out there we should learn. One good way to get more knowledge is reading. You can read books or encyclopedias. You can watch news to expand your knowledge. A person might have a lot of knowledge about some topics, but he or she could never have knowledge about everything. These days, with technology, young people can obtain knowledge more easily with computers, websites, etc.

SMOKING

Smoking is one of the bad habits people have. Smoking is terrible. Every year, a lot of people die because of smoking. Smoking is very bad for health. Once you start smoking, it is very difficult to quit. Smoking is not only harmful to the smokers, but also to people around them. I think all the cigarette companies should be banned and no one is allowed to smoke. And the government should do more to educate people about the consequences of smoking.

Men often find it difficult to understand women. Women are very sensitive and complicated. Sometimes they say “yes” but what they actually mean is “no’. Women spend a lot of time and money on their appearance. They always want to look great. That’s why women love shopping for clothes and cosmetics. Women can get angry or cry for no reason. They also love gossiping. They can talk for hours about different topics. However, women are often very caring and thoughtful. They are also very sympathetic and kind.
