Imagine waking up to find a stranger in your bed stabbing you repeatedly.

Dancer, choreographer, actor, director, and writer, Lynn Forney was home from college when a stranger broke into her mother’s house and stabbed her seven times, while telling her, “Don’t worry, I’m a friend of your mothers.”

But what would you do if after you’d been hospitalized for sixteen days, it seemed like the police were suspicious, insinuating that there was some way you could have done this to yourself? Would you doubt your sanity and go along with their gaslighting? Or would you realize that the whole department was corrupt because they didn’t want the reputation of their “safe” city to suffer?
