October 30, 2019Episode 17 | Passion, Hunger and Dreaming led Thabo to become a disruptor in the way renting and home ownership is being done!
Thabo's journey started off by spotting opportunities of unoccupied buildings and he would approach the owners of the empty units in the inner city whilst he was still working. He would take the risk of cold calling and out of connecting the building owners and tenants he has managed to create a business whilst fully employed. This is what I call HUSTLING at its BEST! He made money from nothing but putting his time and skill. bOOM!
Thabo Mtwa is a legend in my view and with people like him entrepreneurship can only be better..... His story is amazing from self learning, reaching out to people in the industry to help him and creating a functioning business. His product is an amazing product that helps many, the name says it Rent to buy. As an investment company, Pozi Rentals takes control of properties and renovate and rent out, thus helping the landlord who could be in a tight position and also giving tenants an opportunity to own a house.
Thabo is the owner of Pozi Rentals based in Johannesburg and steadily growing into other areas of the country.
My take away after chatting with Thabo in this episode is: Resources and opportunities are everywhere if you look hard enough and are willing to learn! If you find problems and find solutions, one can make money from nothing...... START FROM WHERE YOU ARE NOW!

October 26, 2019Episode 13 | From serving breakfast for a living to become a Property PRACTITIONER & sell 425 investment residential units!
I suppose everyone serves breakfast but not everyone does it for a living, that's called being a WAITER.... AND from this position to become a licenced Property PRACTITIONER & sell 425 investment residential units! THATS EPIC and all this before one hits 30 years. This is what I call killing IT!
Brian Sango is a legend in my view and with people like him the future is definitely bright...... His story is pretty simple he is hungry, humble and just like a duck... He is always calm cool but dude is pushing hard in the background.
From their Cape Town office where he is a Partner and Co- Own the company Property Made Easy,they ran a real estate consultancy that prides itself in helping clients buy the right type of real estate according to their investment plan.

He is the Business Manager of a Global PropTech Software solution that focuses on streamlining and automating the property inspection process. Streamline the reporting process, capture descriptions and conditions on-site effortlessly using your own custom dictionary and templates, manage your client services with client logins and billing, manage your teams schedules, and conduct inspections in a way that suits you - audio dictation, handwriting or digital entry without the need for an Internet connection in the field.

He is the Western Cape Chapter representative of The South African Institute of Black Property Practitioners' (SAIBPP) whose vision is to be a leader in the transformation of the property sector, ensuring that previously disadvantaged people play an active role in transforming the property industry and not merely being on the receiving end.
My take away after chatting with Brian in this episode is: If you are passionate enough, those around you will recognise it and feel it - In no time you can be elevated and possibilities are endless there after! START WHERE YOU ARE NOW!

September 23, 2019Episode 12 | A tripe / offal seller turns Property Developer!
I have known Hubert for a bit but I never knew he used to sell tripe / offal when he was growing up. We all have stories to tell! Besides this side hustle, Hubert went on to built commercial buildings for a living and he is a full time Property Developer to date however for his retirement he is gearing his business for cashflow properties.
My take away chatting with Hubert on this episode is: If you don't have a line in the water you will never catch a fish. Take ACTION!
Hubert is a good example of persistence, in 2008 he almost lost everything including a property building! Enjoy the show!

September 16, 2019 Episode 11 | Toni grew up in a 19m2 with his 5 siblings, with a changed mindset he now buys buildings in Joburg.
Apologies for the poor network we had on this day ( we have a few dead moments) - I think its because Toni, stays in the sticks :-)
Toni grew up during the hardest times of his age group surrounded with war and world sanctions in Serbia. All they had was there house which was 19m2 ( thats the size of a garage for most). In this show Toni touches on is young entrepreneur but i like the way he pitched it - Self employed is a very dangerous place to be BECAUSE if you don't work you don't get paid.
The good thing about Toni, he does very little work as in a job - he spends more time with his kids and wife in a chosen life style due to his property investing game. I hope you enjoy this episode as much as I did and I took away a few nuggets to implement for me!

Like many other South Africans Silindile grew up being a stokvel baby, as far as she can remember in her mothers house, there was always a stokvel of sort from, food, meat, even school fees. Well Sli as I call her, she left home to come to the big city like many of us and as soon as she started working she discovered that property was a her thing only because she refused to pay someones bond off by renting.
Silindile started off with one small property after refusing to pay someone bond whilst on her first job and in this show we talk about starting off and how her journey progressed to start a Stokvel - crowd funding. Sli is the chairwoman of the Sakhisizwe Property Stokvel that crown funds and help others in obtaining passive income in property
Not only is she a devoted to her stokvel, she is a mother, wife and enjoys life in general.

In this show I discover a new meaning to the word "Resilient" . Leroy Slava has done it all in business, including recovering from drugs - which many don't come back from and with persistence him and his sister Candice have built a solid property business.
Not only do they run and own the company Property Pick, Leroy is a husband married to his beautiful wife Montez aka Mrs Slava and they have a lovely daughter Hope - we need to check who stole who a name - cause you all know I also have a daughter - Hope. Leroy is a also a property coach and he helps others to find their fit. His recent love in property is development - well done on your new project!
