  • MacVoices #15130: The MacJury Examines Media Streaming, Ownership and Discovery
The MacJury takes on the subject of media discovery by first looking at music streaming vs. ownership, and how each member finds new music. Whether this is  generational or simply a preference, how social media figures into the equation, and a debate over who is and isn’t a tastemaker lead into the second part of the discussion. At the very time we have huge amounts of video content, there is a growing trend toward cord cutting. How do you discover new video? The panel answers that question in some surprising ways that cross over into the music discovery question. The answers are provided and discussed by the panel of Peter Cohen, Kelly Guimont, Chuck La Tournous and host Chuck Joiner.

Kelly Guimont is a longtime Apple geek, sitting down (on a telephone book) in front of an Apple IIe in 1983. She can still hear the ticking of the ImageWriter. Chuck La Tournous (Twitter) is a writer, marketer, musician, speaker, podcaster, pundit, art director, web developer and all-around geek. In addition to appearing as a regular panelist on The MacJury, Chuck speaks about technology, camping and marketing issues, and is a contributing editor for The Mac Observer.
