There is going to be significant change on the Station Road in Ennis soon, with the news that Madden Furniture is to close its doors for good.

The Maddens’ Facebook post on the impending closure began: “after 49 incredible years supplying furniture to our community, the time has come for us to say goodbye.”

They will bring the curtain down on close to half a century in business at the end of the month, with their Farewell Closing Down Sale getting underway later this morning (11.00am to 7.00pm).
