This week we continue on the reality tv path, with Jane making Kurt watch Dance Moms! We do get a little off-track on this one, chatting about our favourite lollies and Australia's painfully inconsistent education system, but never fear! Eventually we do get around to discussing the episode, including the effective emotional manipulation through narrativisation, and the careful balancing act that parents struggle with, between unconditional love and encouraging their children to do their best.

In reality, however, this is a mess of an episode where the recap doesn't start until 45 minutes in, and we spend a lot of time talking about Thor Ragnarok (and related haircut discussions), Brie Larson, Syfy original programming and Catherine Tate. Because why not, you know? We're only young once. Don't judge us. But sorry.
