In Acts 13:16–41, Paul delivers his first recorded sermon, proclaiming the Kerygma—the essential message of the gospel. This sermon traces God’s sovereign plan through Israel’s history, the suffering and crucifixion of Jesus, His resurrection, and the invitation for all to receive forgiveness through faith. Paul shows that salvation doesn’t come through the law but through Christ alone. The passage calls for a personal response: to surrender to Jesus and share His message with others.

In Acts 12:1–24, Pastor Jeff unpacks how the Gospel continues to advance even when everything seems to be falling apart. That “remaining” looks like accountability, steady encouragement, real community, and clear instruction in God’s Word. Barnabas then brings Saul, and for a full year they teach large crowds; it’s here the disciples are first called Christians. This message calls us to share our faith and grow up in it, not treat Christianity like a box to check but a life of daily obedience in Jesus. In Acts 11:19–26, we see how the church at Antioch became a model for what a great church looks like, one rooted in effective evangelism and everyday faithfulness. Though born out of persecution, the believers leveraged their circumstances for God’s mission, spreading the gospel to Jews and Greeks alike. God used ordinary, unnamed men and women to begin a movement that would reach the world, reminding us that faithfulness in small things matters. This passage shows that true evangelism isn’t about manipulation or recognition but about teaching the gospel with the aim to persuade, trusting that the Lord’s hand is with us. May we, like the believers in Antioch, carry the good news to all people with urgency and conviction.

In Acts 10:9–48, Peter experiences a vision that reshapes his understanding of God’s plan for salvation. What began as a lesson about food becomes a revelation about people, showing that the Gospel is for everyone, not just the Jews. God prepares Peter through a vision, connects him with Cornelius, and confirms that the Holy Spirit is poured out on all who believe. Through this moment, the walls of separation fall as Peter declares that God shows no favoritism and that Jesus is Lord of all. The message is clear: God is always working to prepare His people for His purposes and calling His church to take the good news to every person who will listen.

Have you ever had to change your mind about something? In Acts 9:1–19 we meet Saul, a man convinced he was serving God by persecuting the church until he was confronted by Jesus on the road to Damascus. In that moment Saul’s life, beliefs, and purpose were completely transformed. Pastor Adam shares how God can confront, change, and commission us no matter our past. If God could transform Saul, the chief of sinners, He can transform anyone. Encounter Jesus, be changed, and step into a new way of life.

Stephen’s life in Acts 6–7 shows us what it means to live with courage and conviction. Chosen as a servant leader, Stephen faithfully served the church, endured suffering for Christ, boldly spoke the truth, and ultimately shined with the hope of Jesus even in death. His story challenges us to ask: Is my life worth imitating? Is Jesus the center of my story?

In Acts 5:17–21 the apostles faced resistance, imprisonment, and opposition but God delivered them and gave a clear command: “Go, stand, and speak.” This passage reminds us that following Jesus brings both challenges and confidence. We see that our calling is greater than our comfort and the Gospel of life is too important to remain silent. God equips us to stand firm, speak boldly, and live with purpose in every place He sends us.

In Acts 4:23-31, the believers respond to threats with united, Scripture-rooted prayer that acknowledges God’s power, remembers Christ’s suffering, and asks boldly for strength, healing, and signs to glorify His name. In this message, Pastor Adam teaches six marks of bold prayer: it is real, relational, rooted, requests big things, reverent, and results in power. When the early church prayed this way, the room was shaken, they were filled with the Spirit, and they spoke God’s word with courage—a reminder that bold prayer still creates bold people today
