Episode 70 of the conversations between Yogita Pant and Anil Chawla describes the ongoing war between Hanuman and Raavan’s warriors. A large army had already been killed by Hanuman. Jambumaalee had also been killed. Now, Raavan decided to send seven sons of his ministers. It took no time for Hanuman to kill all the seven minister-sons. This disturbed and infuriated Raavan now decided to send five of his army chiefs – Virupaaksh, Yupaaksh, Durdhar, Praghas and Bhaaskarn. The five surrounded Hanuman and started attacking him. Hanuman countered them and killed them all. Raavan sent his son Aksh to face Hanuman. The battle with Aksh was fierce but ended with Hanuman killing Aksh. With his own son killed, Raavan did not want to take any chances. He explained the seriousness of the situation to his son Meghnaad and asked him to use all his abilities to fight with Hanuman and capture Hanuman alive. Meghnaad soon realized that he could not kill Hanuman. Meghnaad decided to use brahmaastr to capture Hanuman. Hit by brahmaastr, Hanuman fell to the ground. Hanuman was blessed by Brahma that brahmaastr would bind him only for a few moments. So, Hanuman could have got up and be free. But Hanuman decided to allow himself to be bound. Hanuman’s intention was to get an opportunity to face Raavan. And sure enough, Hanuman got the opportunity. Hanuman was presented before Raavan.   (Ref. Episode 69 of the conversations between Yogita Pant and Anil Chawla describes the actions of Hanuman after bidding farewell to Seeta. Hanuman thought of what else he could do to serve his employer better. He thought that in due course it will be necessary to fight a war with Raavan and his army. So, it would be good if he could assess the strengths of Raavan and his key officers. With this thought in mind, Hanuman decided to do some nuisance that would lead to war with Raavan. Hanuman destroyed a large portion of the garden where Seeta was put up. News of the destruction reached Raavan. Immediately, Raavan ordered an army of eighty thousand soldiers to attack Hanuman and capture him. Hanuman singlehandedly defeated the army and massacred most of them. Infuriated Raavan now ordered Jambumaalee, son of Prahast, to fight Hanuman. In the battle between Hanuman and Jambumaalee, Hanuman defeated Jambumaalee, killed him and most of the soldiers who had accompanied him. (Ref. Episode 68 of the conversations between Yogita Pant and Anil Chawla continues with the conversation between Seeta and Hanuman. Seeta is sad on learning that Ram is so sad and is missing her. Hanuman offers to carry Seeta on his back across the ocean. Hanuman assures her that she would see Ram by the end of the day. Seeta takes it as a joke. But Hanuman assures her that he is serious and he has the capacity to carry the whole of Lanka on his back. Seeta appreciates the offer but refuses the offer giving detailed reasons. Hanuman agrees with her. Hanuman now requests Seeta for some message for Ram. Seeta tells Hanuman an incident that had happened when Ram and Seeta were in Chitrakoot. The incident was known only to Ram and Seeta. Seeta tells Hanuman to narrate the incident to Ram to assure Ram that Hanuman had indeed met Seeta. She also hands over to Hanuman for giving to Ram a piece of jewellery which was part of family jewels. Episode 67 of the conversations between Yogita Pant and Anil Chawla describes the meeting of Hanuman with Seeta. Hanuman is aware that Seeta may get scared of him. So, Hanuman begins with singing the story of Ram. Seeta is pleased to hear about Ram but is scared on seeing Hanuman. Nevertheless, Hanuman goes in front of her and after paying due respect asks her introduction. Seeta introduces herself. She starts getting doubts that this vaanar may well be Raavan trying to fool her once again. She tells Hanuman about her doubts and asks him to describe Ram. Hanuman tells Seeta in detail about Ram and tries to convince her that he is indeed the representative sent by Ram to inquire about her. Seeta is still not fully convinced. She asks him to tell her in detail about the personality as well as physical features of Ram. Hanuman describes in great detail various qualities of Ram and also describes various parts of Ram’s body. Now Seeta is convinced. Hanuman now hands over the ring that Ram had given for Seeta. This leaves no doubts in Seeta’s mind. Now she enquires about Ram’s well-being. Hanuman answers her and tells her how Ram is missing her and is always sad.  (Ref. Episode 66 of the conversations between Yogita Pant and Anil Chawla describes the torturous situation faced by Seeta after she refused Raavan’s proposal of marriage. The raakshsis guarding Seeta were each more ferocious and scarier than the other. They started shouting at Seeta trying to get her to accept Raavan’s proposal. They threatened to kill her and cook her meat. They started preparing for a party with Seeta’s meat, even going to the extent of ordering liquor to go with the meat. Seeta refused to be bowed down and was prepared to sacrifice her life, but was not prepared to abandon Ram and become Raavan’s wife. An old raakshsi, named Trijataa, who was sleeping got up and came there. Trijataa told them about a dream she had which showed victory of Ram and horrible defeat of Raavan. Episode 65 of the conversations between Yogita Pant and Anil Chawla describes the events after Hanuman enters Ashok Vaatika, which was a huge place with large number of trees. The vaatika had a mountain, a river, many ponds and even some palaces. The vaatika had a huge meditation hall with a thousand pillars. Hanuman discovered a young woman near the meditation hall.  The woman was being guarded by a number of ferocious women warriors and was clearly very sad. She seemed to be weeping. She was wearing a yellow saree which had apparently not been washed for months. Hanuman thought that this beautiful woman must be Seeta. But Hanuman wanted to be sure before proceeding further. So, he sat on a tree and waited for over twenty-four hours patiently. At the end of Hanuman’s second night in Lanka, he saw Raavan come to the sad woman. Raavan addressed the woman as Seeta and pleaded with her to accept him as her husband. A long conversation took place between Raavan and Seeta which ended with Raavan telling Seeta that she had two months to decide. Raavan told Seeta that at the end of two months either she would become his wife or his cooks would cut her into pieces and cook the meat. (Ref. Episode 64 of the conversations between Yogita Pant and Anil Chawla describes the difficult situation faced by Hanuman while searching for Seeta in the city of Lanka. Notably, Hanuman had no clue about the exact location of Seeta. Moreover, he had only seen Seeta once earlier and that too from a distance when Raavan was kidnapping Seeta. Lanka was a huge city with population exceeding a few lakhs with thousands of houses. Hanuman was on a secret mission. So, he could not talk to anyone and inquire about Seeta. Hanuman managed to secretly enter the cantonment area and reach the palace complex. He visited every house and looked at the private areas in his search for Seeta. Hanuman also visited the personal palace of Raavan. Hanuman saw thousands of wives of Raavan sleeping in a huge hall with Raavan at the centre. Despite all his massive efforts, Hanuman could not locate Seeta and was getting frustrated and dejected. Episode 63 of the conversations between Yogita Pant and Anil Chawla describes the journey of Veer Hanuman to Lanka. As Hanuman begins his jump across the ocean, devtas, rishis and such other divine persons praise his big effort. The sea also sees the grand effort being made by Hanuman and wishes to help him by offering a place to rest and relax. The sea orders mountain Mainak to rise up and provide a resting place to Hanuman. Mainak rises up but Hanuman sees the mountain as an obstacle and breaks its peak. Mainak gets into human form and prays to Hanuman to be a guest and take a break. Hanuman thanks Mainak for the hospitality but refuses to stop. As Hanuman proceeds further, devatas wish to test Hanuman. The devatas convince Naagmata Sursa to stand in the way of Hanuman. Sursa takes the form of a raakshsee and tries to stop Hanuman. But Hanuman is too smart for her. She blesses Hanuman. As Hanuman moves further, he meets a raakshsee named Sinhika who grabs Hanuman’s shadow and tries to kill him. Hanuman kills her and moves ahead. After reaching Lanka, Hanuman reduces his size to avoid getting noticed. But, the devi who guards Lanka sees him and tries to stop him unsuccessfully. Episode 62 of the conversations between Yogita Pant and Anil Chawla starts with the team of vaanars led by Angad feeling happy after Sampaati tells them about location of Sita in Lanka across the ocean. As they look at the ocean, the problem of crossing the ocean seems unsurmountable. The team is depressed. Angad tries to get the enthusiasm back. Angad asks each team member to say his capacity in terms of jumping across large distance. It is clear that the distance of one hundred yojan is too much for them. Jambwaan, the senior-most member of the team decides to motivate Hanuman. Jambwaan tells Hanuman the story of Hanuman’s birth and also the story of how as a child Hanuman had tried to catch the sun. Jambwaan also tells Hanuman of the various boons that Hanuman is blessed with. On hearing Jambwaan, Hanuman is filled with enthusiasm and starts preparing to cross the ocean. Episode 61 of the conversations between Yogita Pant and Anil Chawla starts with Hanuman getting concerned about Angad’s decision to settle in Swayamprabha’s cave and not return to Kishkindha. Hanuman first convinces other members of the team to not go with Angad. Hanuman then speaks to Angad trying to tell him about the dangers of his scheme. Angad is not convinced with Hanuman’s arguments. Angad directs all team members to return while he fasts to death. All team members decide to join Angad in the fast to death. Gidhraaj Sampaati, elder brother of Jataayu sees the fasting team and is looking forward to get food as the team members die with hunger. But, Sampaati overhears the team members talk about Jataayu. Sampaati begs the team of vaanars to tell him about his younger brother. Sampaati hears about Ram and Lakshman as well as about the kidnapping of Seeta. Sampaati tells his own story and guides the team about Seeta being in the palace of Raavan in Lanka located at one hundred yojan across the sea. (Ref.
