  • Pip Blom
Pip Blom the band is led by the young Amsterdam songwriter of the same name. Using post-punk urgency, 90’s alt-rock hooks and twists, and a geniune knack for songwriting and expression, the music is a refreshing blast of catchy, poppy tunes that we can’t get enough of. The band dropped by Serious Business Music in Brooklyn while in the states prior to SXSW to give us a live taste of what they’re capable of.

  • Thumpasaurus
Thumpasaurus is a punk-funk wild rollercoaster ride of a party machine full of aliens, tearing out of LA. With a ridiculously entertaining vibe and a flair for the dramatic (think somewhere along the Talking Heads > P-Funk > Zappa spectrum), this band is anything but easy listening - their mission is to get you up on your feet and moving. They invaded the live room at Serious Business Music (complete with some perfectly timed projections) to bring the thump!

  • Airpark
Nashville brothers Ben Ford and Michael Ford, Jr. have returned with a fresh batch of their distinctly catchy, melodic indie rock, this time with a new EP produced by the acclaimed producers/band Tennis. The songwriting is as crisp and poignant as ever from the Fords, with that added sweetness of the new production collaboration. The band dropped by Serious Business Music in Brooklyn to follow up on their previous session a couple years ago, and to share some of their new music with us.

  • The Fucktons
From the Brooklyn DIY giants at King Pizza, we bring you The Fucktons, a two-man gas-guzzlin’ reverb-swimming overdrive-blurtin’ powerhouse of rock. You may recognize these two from The Mad Doctors, but here they strip the lo-fi sound down to its most bare and unruly, thrashing through the streets with some super satisfying tunes. They came out of hiding to tear it up at Serious Business Music for this rare appearance.
Spring Cleaning by The Fucktons is available now from King Pizza Records.
