  • Episode 8: NWA WrestleWar 1989 - The Music City Showdown
It was the show that was supposed to go head-to-head with WrestleMania 5 on pay-per-view before PPV providers stabbed Ted Turner in the back and the NWA was forced to move the date of the show. The Marks (Troy & Greg) are wrapping up their review of the events that carried the legendary 1989 Ric Flair/Ricky Steamboat trilogy, and it was a hell of a way to end an action-packed July. The show itself was what it was, and the Marks break down what could have and should have been along with what actually happened in Memphis. On top of the review of the event itself, the Marks are talking about a "big" debut in the WWF and what's to come from it, the theater and distribution deals surrounding No Holds Barred, a soon-to-be major signing for Uncle Vinny's Rasslin' Entertainment, a big signing for the NWA, and a not-so-major signing for the NWA. Plus, how did Japan's big yearly Tokyo Dome show compare with WrestleMania 5, where the Mega Powers exploded? • Episode 7: WWF In Your House 16: Canadian Stampede
This one is a tad longer than usual, but for good reason. The World Wrestling Federation held their 16th In Your House event in Canada during the red hot rivalry between the Canada-loving Hart Foundation and the entire United States of America. With only 4 matches on the card, you wouldn't expect much, but this was one of the greatest In Your House shows ever (if not the best). A lot went down at this time as well, with the Monday Night Wars raging and Mike Tyson biting Evander Holyfield's ear off during a fight in Las Vegas. All that and more is covered by the Marks (Troy & Greg) in this action-packed episode!FOLLOW US ON TWITTER & INSTAGRAM: @MainEvent_MarksFOLLOW US ON FACEBOOK: facebook.com/maineventmarkspodEMAIL US AT: [email protected] FOR US ON YOUTUBE AT: Main Event Marks

  • Episode 6: Clash of the Champions VI
The Marks are diving into the second match in the trilogy between Ric Flair and Ricky Steamboat. In the Marks' opinions, this match was even better than the first one and co-host Troy has a, possibly, unpopular opinion about the infamous 2-Out-of-3 Falls Match and another hour-long match. Quite a few matches got cancelled from this card and moved to World Championship Wrestling on Saturday night and others were cut from the WWE Network for some reason. This would also be the last televised appearance in the NWA for Jim Cornette and the Midnight Express. • Episode 5: ECW Heat Wave 1999
It was a hot one Dayton for Extreme Championship Wrestling. For as much as the Marks (Troy & Greg) disliked many things about ECW, they didn't dislike this event. In full heel form, the Dudley Boyz nearly start a riot with a blistering promo on the crowd right before defending the World Tag-Team Titles against Balls Mahoney and Spike Dudley. Besides that, a chibi Steve Corino is all over this show, Tommy Dreamer feints retirement, Taz is out for blood against "The Japanese Buzzsaw" Yoshihiro Tajiri, and RVD and Jerry Lynn make strange bedfellows as they take on the Impact Players, much to the chagrin of Sabu. Besides the event itself, the Marks are talking Sable suing the WWF over her name, then-governor of Minnesota Jesse Ventura agreeing to referee the main event at SummerSlam, WCW financially and creatively going down the poop tubes, and much more!FOLLOW US ON TWITTER & INSTAGRAM:@MainEvent_MarksFOLLOW US ON FACEBOOK:www.facebook.com/maineventmarkspodSEARCH FOR US ON YOUTUBE: Main Event Marks

  • Episode 4: NWA Chi-Town Rumble 1989
This is the match that kicked off the infamous Ric Flair/Ricky Steamboat trilogy of 1989. While this was before the Marks' time, they can appreciate some old school NWA. The show may have dragged in the beginning, but it picked up near the end. A lot of moving and shaking happened during this time period, including big controversies with the WWF admitting publicly that wrestling is "fake" *gasp* and some backstabbing to Ted Turner by pay-per-view providers. Hear what the Marks have to say about this epic, classic pay-per-view as they also run down tons of news and notes!FOLLOW US ON TWITTER & INSTAGRAM: @MainEvent_MarksFOLLOW US ON FACEBOOK: www.facebook.com/maineventmarkspodSEARCH FOR US ON YOUTUBE: Main Event Marks

  • Episode 3: WWE Vengeance 2005
A sleeper show from a sleeper year. After one of the best, unsung WrestleManias of all time (21), Vengeance kind of played as the buffer to where the WrestleMania feuds ended and the SummerSlam feuds began. John Cena had just been drafted to RAW and was made to defend his WWE Title against Christian and Chris Jericho in a Triple Threat match, Shawn Michaels attempts to avenge his WrestleMania loss against Kurt Angle in another classic encounter, Edge and Kane battled it out right before the previously fired Matt Hardy made his return, Batista and Triple H close out their World Heavyweight Title feud in a bloody, brutal Hell in a Cell match before Batista gets drafted to SmackDown, and so much more took place on this RAW brand exclusive pay-per-view! The Marks (Troy & Greg) will talk about the feuds, the matches, toys and collectibles that relate to the show, and give some personal wrestling convention stories to go along with the pay-per-view.FOLLOW US ON TWITTER & INSTAGRAM: @MainEvent_Marks

  • Episode 2: WCW Great American Bash 1996
Coming off of one of the worst pay-per-views of this era (Slamboree 1996), World Championship Wrestling brings the heat, without Hulk Hogan, just one month before the New World Order is formed at Bash at the Beach. Lots of historic stuff happens on this show, and Greg remembers it fondly as being the first WCW pay-per-view he and his family ever bought together. • Episode 1: WWF King of the Ring 1998
"Good God almight! As God as my witness, he's been broken in half!" If that line summons up great memories for you, or if you remember Kane's 24-hour reign as WWF Champion, you're going to want to hear this in-depth rundown of King of the Ring 1998 by the Main Event Marks! Besides the event itself, the Marks (Troy & Greg) are digging up the news and notes from that time, including the unfortunate passing of Junkyard Dog and Dennis Rodman skipping out on practice during the NBA Finals to show up on WCW Monday Nitro.
