We talk movies to start the hour with Nathan Deming, a Wisconsin filmmaker who is in to promote the Green Bay Film Festival event coming up this weekend. His movie “February” tells the story of Miguel (David Ezekiel Duran), a recent immigrant to a small town in Wisconsin. A mysterious co-worker (Richie Gordon) invites him to experience ice fishing, and Miguel embarks on a night on the ice he will never forget. Then Makenna Mae and Jake Alan are in our Heights Pub & Parlor Music Series spotlight! Makenna and Jake are part of the group Grand Union, but they also perform as an acoustic duo. They knock our socks off with awesome music! A great way to end the week and kick off the weekend!
