Stephen Colbert is joining the team that is adapting Roger Zelazny’s “The Chronicles of Amber” for television. Colbert will now executive produce the potential series under his Spartina production banner. Spartina joins Skybound Entertainment and Vincent Newman Entertainment (VNE) on the series version of the beloved fantasy novels, with Skyboudn first announcing their intention to develop the series back in 2016.

From LA to London, from the early 1900s till today, Buchanan examines and presents narratives to show how Black musicians shape (and are shaped by) the world we live in.

Buchanan is an illustrator, writer, and musician born in Eerie, PA. After risking more than a decade of her life to drumming and singing in hardcore, post-punk, and power pop bands, she has returned to her first love: comics. Besides doing industry work-for-hire, she has most recently created self-published books Strange Glances and the POCtober Sketchbook. Buchanan’s creative work centers on exploring different areas of Black heritage, such as rock ‘n’ roll musical roots and general history, in social and political arenas and science fiction.

The Legend of Kora: Tuf Wars

After a refreshing sojourn in the Spirit World, Korra and Asami return to Republic City but find nothing but political hijinks and human vs. spirit conflict! Pompous developer Wonyong Keum plans to turn the new spirit portal into an amusement park, potentially severing an already tumultuous connection with the spirits. ” Fear the Walking Dead ” will end with its upcoming Season 8. AMC made the announcement as part of its presentation at the Television Critics Association winter press tour. In addition, AMC also announced that the final season of the “Walking Dead” companion series would consist of 12 episodes that will roll out in two six-episode blocks.

A “Dungeons & Dragons” live-action series has been ordered at Paramount+, Variety has confirmed. Rawson Marshall Thurber wrote the pilot for the series and will direct the first episode. Paramount+ has given the show an eight-episode order. The series is a co-production between eOne and Paramount Pictures, with eOne serving as the lead studio.

DC co-Boss James Gunn recently tweeted that he “wrote a 1/3 of an unannounced DC TV show”. Insiders are staying tight lipped about exactly what it will focus on as Gunn and fellow DC co-Boss Peter Safran expect to unveil their DC universe plan spanning film and TV toward the end of the month.

A live-action adaptation of PlayStation’s hit video game franchise ” God of War” has been ordered to series at Amazon ‘s Prime Video, with “Wheel of Time” boss Rafe Judkins set as showrunner.

Things are heating up in Metropolis, as DC Studios co-head James Gunn has announced he is writing a new feature film about Superman. In step with the new project, Gunn has also revealed that Henry Cavill will not return as the hero.
