People living with dementia generally move through 4-5 stages: mild behavioral impairment, mild cognitive impairment, mild dementia, moderate dementia, and severe dementia. Several factors affect duration and movement through these stages.

Caring for a person with frontotemporal dementia (FTD) is very different than caring for a person with Alzheimer's disease. Persons with FTD can go into a rage suddenly and with little warning. In this podcast, I provide techniques for dealing with that rage.
