Ejaz Nabie found himself at the epicenter of a global pandemic. Radically saved out of a strict, Muslim background, Ejaz Nabie paid a heavy personal cost to follow Jesus. God uniquely prepared him to pioneer Faith Assembly in Queens New York, a dynamic, diverse church where he serves as Senior Pastor. Little did he know 34 years later that he would find himself at the epicenter of a global pandemic, wondering how to minister to a city that was dying. He founded PRAYNYC to bring together churches and pastors to impact their communities in powerful ways, and to date, over 70,000 people have joined in these prayer initiatives. He shares his riveting personal story and leadership lessons we all need to see the opportunities in times of crisis.
While pursuing her law degree, Tamryn Klintworth attended a crusade of Evangelist Reinhard Bonnke of Christ for All Nations (CfaN). She was never the same. Radically impacted, God shifted the direction of her life. Upon completing her degree, she spent a year working for CfaN before launching out under the banner of In His Name. Today, Tamyryn and her team hold mass crusades across the continent of Africa. Her powerful story and dynamic ministry will inspire you to believe God for mountain-moving assignments. She lives in Cape Town, South Africa, with her husband, André Britz.
“Covid was like a magnifying glass so we could truly see. The Church that was somehow sleeping to the needs of the orphan has been shaken awake.” Harmony Klngenmeyer is a leading voice to see the Z and Alpha Generation healed and restored. We discuss the greatest need among children today and what we can do to grow in connection and compassion with the next generation. The author of “Hear Their Voices: A Portrait of an American Foster Family,” Harmony and her husband, Scott, are the mother of three adopted boys and 17 children out of foster care. She holds her Master’s in Education and has spent almost a decade teaching in elementary and middle schools.
“You have a brick in your chest and we’re not sure you’re going to make it. Get your affairs in order.” Dr. Paula McDonald survived a life-threatening surgery for a rare tumor wrapped around her spinal cord and into her chest to face yet another large tumor that required the loss of a lung. She lives life to the fullest, encouraging others to experience wellness and understand the intersection of faith and the Bible. As the author of LIV2DAY – THEYSYNTHESIS, she holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, a master’s and Ph.D. in Theology, and speaks from authority regarding science and the Bible.
What do we do when our faith doesn’t seem to resolve our pain? Beth Murphy co-founded Rock House Center with her husband John to bring Biblical counseling programs to individuals and leaders seeking greater wellbeing and life purpose through their faith. She offers a significantly grace-filled perspective on relational and emotional struggles, helping us know God’s pathway out of how we’re feeling and experiencing life and access God’s peace. Her resources encourage us to unmute the shame and stigma attached to mental health and know what to do with our pain.
Charlotte Gambill leads Life Church alongside her husband Steve with five campuses across Europe. The author of 14 books, founder of Cherish women’s conferences and The Collective, and co-founder of the Dare To Be movement with Natalie Grant, Charlotte’s greatest joy is her husband and two children. Through a difficult season of infertility, she chose to sow seeds of life and hope into others. When the pandemic spread across the globe, we faced change in our everyday choices and unfamiliar restrictions. Yet, that season reminded Charlotte that we still have the power to choose. What started with her talking to herself on an iPhone became a gathering point for people worldwide to join in together and choose faith over fear, connection over isolation, and trust in the trials. www.charlottegambill.com.
