Making a Difference

Genesis 25th chapter contains a story about the twins, Jacob and Esau. Listen as Mary Ellen shares a  metaphysical lesson about the twins we all have, the two aspects of our one self.  From a literal view the Genesis story is about the long ago estrangement and eventual reconciliation of two brothers. From a metaphysical view it is a story about us  and the estrangement and eventual reconciliation of our mental and physical expressions. The reconciliation comes as a result of accepting ourselves as beloved and worthy right now.

Listen as Larry shares his understanding of what prayer is (and is not,) how to pray for others, and the importance of having a prayer consciousness.

"Prayer is more than supplication. It is an affirmation of Truth that eternally exists, but which has not yet come  into consciousness. It comes into consciousness not by supplication but by affirmation.
"It is necessary to pray believing that we have received because God is all that we desire. The good always exists in Divine Mind as ideas, and we bring it into manifestation through the prayer of faith, affirmation, praise, and acknowledgment."

Have you been reluctant to forgive yourself or another for something?   Have you thought forgiveness is about forgetting, excusing, ignoring or minimizing?
Would it make a difference if you realized that everything you want... well-being in any aspect of your life,...everything you want is found in forgiveness? Listen as Mary Ellen shares thoughts on forgiveness and practical tools to use in the process.

"Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness sake; for theirs is the kingdom of heaven...." (Matthew 5th chapter.)
What might Jesus have meant with reference to  being persecuted for righteousness sake?  Does righteousness refer to the outer actions of an individual? Does persecution always come from one person toward another or is it possible to come from within us? Was Jesus promising  a piece real estate to anyone being persecuted or did the promise have to do with an inner state of heaven being realized by the individual?
Listen as Larry shares his understanding of what Jesus,  as Master Teacher and Psychologist,  was teaching in the 8th beatitude.   #spiritualgemsaz #unity #livingunity #newthought #newthoughtmovement #makingadifference #practicalchristianity
