With a background in music from childhood and recording experience extending back to the early 1970's, Grammy Award winning Engineer/Producer Francis Buckley has been making records for over 20 years. His experience ranges from the groundbreaking punk act Black Flag's first album "Damaged" in 1980, to winning the Engineering Grammy Award in 1996 for "Q's Jook Joint" with Quincy Jones. Francis'contributions as engineer and mixer to such multi-platinum recordings as The Pointer Sisters' "Breakout", Paula Abdul's "Forever Your Girl", Wilson Phillips' "Wilson Phillips", Alanis Morisette's "Jagged Little Pill, Quincy Jones' "Q's Jook Joint," and many others, have helped to sell over 100 million-plus records worldwide.

Francis began producing while acting as chief engineer at W.E. Studios in Redondo Beach in 1979. In 1980 he became chief engineer for Unicorn Records and worked with many different acts including Black Flag. In 1981 he moved to MCA Music Publishing, beginning a 10 year stand as Director of Recording Services. It was at MCA that he met producer Glen Ballard, with whom he shared a 14 year partnership.

Now, aside from doing session work, Francis has been concentrating on the lost art of artist-development. Francis is working with singer/songwriters Noel, Tod McLeod and Michael Buckley, Lap-Pop Artist "Lo-Fi Sugar", Soul/Rock group "The Underground Railroad" and the funkiest thing to ever come out of Mexico "Pilaseca" as well as many Film, TV and Commercial spots.

Singer/Songwriter/Guitarist Ken Stacey and his Voice as Sweet as "Ambrosia"

Ken Stacey is an accomplished vocalist, guitarist, vocal arranger and coach whose career has included work with some of the most celebrated artists in popular music. Born in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Stacey received no formal musical education and was preparing to attend law school when an invitation to join a band changed the direction of his life.

Stacey toured as a backing vocalist and acoustic guitarist with Elton John, including the Elton John and Billy Joel Face to Face tour. He was later selected as a backing vocalist for Michael Jackson's This Is It concert production and appeared in the subsequent film—an opportunity he describes as his "10-year audition." He has also performed as Ambrosia's lead vocalist and acoustic guitarist and toured with Bobby Caldwell as a backing vocalist and percussionist.

His album credits include recordings by Michael Jackson, Elton John, Kelly Clarkson, Whitney Houston, Michael Bublé, Neil Young, 3 Doors Down, Bette Midler, Julio Iglesias, Luis Miguel and the cast of Rock of Ages. Throughout his career, Stacey has performed with artists including Billy Joel, Usher, Jennifer Hudson, John Mayer, Josh Groban, Jewel, Tony Bennett, Diana Ross, Tom Petty, Randy Newman, Phil Collins, Bonnie Raitt, Luther Vandross, Michael McDonald, Toto and many others. His work has also brought him together with renowned producers such as David Foster, Humberto Gatica, Phil Ramone, Howard Benson, Giorgio Moroder, Kenny Ortega and Robbie Buchanan.

As a vocal arranger, Stacey contributed to Celine Dion's "Play Me Like a Love Song" and Kelly Clarkson's "Silent Night," both produced by Humberto Gatica. He arranged group vocal performances for American Idol, helped the Wojahn Brothers produce vocalists for Ford commercials and worked on an Apple retail convention featuring Tony Award winner John Lloyd Young and the Andraé Crouch Choir. Stacey also provided vocal coaching and talent evaluation for seasons 10 and 11 of American Idol and has privately coached performers including Kenny Loggins, Jason Derlatka, Kidd Quizz and Phil Nudelman.

Although Stacey once imagined becoming a ski instructor if music did not work out, his career followed a very different course. He humorously recalls being on the toilet when he received the invitation to join Elton John's band, but considers becoming a father the most consequential event of his life, crediting his son with saving him.

Herman Matthews) is an American drummer and composer. Matthews works as a session and touring musician, most notably for Tower of Power, Kenny Loggins and toured with Tom Jones for more than 7 years. He began playing drums at the age of seven and has been the backbone of world-class pop, rock, jazz, soul, R&B and funk bands for nearly thirty years.

Lighting Up the Rock World with Lighting Designer/Director Cosmo Wilson

Charles B. "Cosmo" Wilson is an American concert lighting designer and director for rock bands, active since 1986. He has worked with over 40 acts including The Rolling Stones, Aerosmith, AC/DC, Black Sabbath, Emerson Lake & Palmer, Foreigner, INXS, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Meat Loaf, Mötley Crüe, Ronnie James Dio, David Lee Roth, Scorpions, and Rod Stewart. He was a touring road crew member from 1986 and toured with The Cure, Genesis, Barbara Mandrell, INXS, Crowded House, and various other acts before becoming a director and designer. He worked on the Rolling Stones "Steel Wheels" tour as lighting crew chief before moving up to lighting director, where he spent the next 7 months touring Japan and Europe with both "Urban Jungle" and "Steel Wheels" shows. He has worked with AC/DC since 1990, directing over 700 shows since then, including 1991's "Monsters of Rock" stadium tour, which finished in Moscow where it was estimated that there were over 1.6 million fans in attendance, and was described as the first free outdoor Western rock concert in Soviet history. Wilson also toured with AC/DC on their Ballbreaker World Tour, their Stiff Upper Lip World Tour, and their Black Ice World Tour, playing 168 shows in 29 countries with over 5 million fans in attendance, and at the time, was the second highest-grossing tour in history. He also toured with AC/DC on their Rock or Bust World Tour. Cosmo directed and operated the lighting for The Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert for AIDS Awareness, which celebrated the life and legacy of Freddie Mercury and raise money for AIDS research. The tribute concert, which took place at Wembley Stadium for an audience of 72,000, featured a wide variety of guests including Robert Plant (of Led Zeppelin), Roger Daltrey (of The Who), Extreme, Elton John, Metallica, David Bowie, Annie Lennox, Tony Iommi (of Black Sabbath), Guns N' Roses, Elizabeth Taylor, George Michael, Def Leppard, Seal and Liza Minnelli.
