In this first episode, we hear from Mary Gititu, a mother & author who found herself pregnant at 19 and in what she thought was a stable relationship. In an effort to advance in her career later on in life, she found herself in being a long distance parent from Wuhan, China and her stay ultimately prolonged by this novel and deadly virus,  COVID -19 that was later declared a global pandemic.

In this episode, we listen to Linda who looks back at her four year journey as a mother. 

She found out that she was pregnant unexpectedly, and like many mothers out there, abortion came to mind. This might be a trigger for some, so please have that in mind as you listen to this episode.

In spite of having an  'easy'  but lonely pregnancy, her recovery journey proved to be tougher than she expected. In addition to that, she had to help her son find his voice in a world that told him he could not speak.
