Hello lovelies on Vibes web3 music competition platform week #31, I welcome you all to my blog. My name is mamab. On this edition we are to present songs of 2000s.
I went into the archives to get a song from Ernest Dades titled "Ubangiji na" which means My Lord. I will be presenting the cover. The gospel music artist is a native of Plateau state, Nigeria. The song is in Hausa language from Northern Nigeria. It is a song of adoration to the Lord Jesus Christ.
The writeup cannot be complete without acknowledging the great efforts of the bosses who are always keeping things running in the community. @lordbutterfly, @silentscreamer and @verbal-d.
I wrote the lyrics myself

A big hi to the gentlemen and ladies of Afri-tunes community. I welcome you specifically to my blog, it's another exciting time to bring to you my beautiful entry for week #158. My name is mamab on this space.
I will be sharing with you the cover of a song I knew for quite a number of years now, It has been a great blessing, it is a celestial worship. The title of the song is "Sujada" by Daps Dalyop Gwom. The gospel music minister is a Plateau state based singer who has impacted his audience with classic music compositions and productions. The song Sujada has both English and Hausa versions. I chose to do the Hausa version today, maybe i will do the English version some other time.
Sujada means worship in English language. The song carries the spirit and melody of sweet worship to the King of kings. It is also calling on everyone to offer deep worship and kneel before our maker. Worship is God's food, the 24 elders and angels as recorded in the Bible worship daily before His throne. Thank God for the music ministry, one of the best platforms to offer worship, there are so many ways to worship God but singing and doing music is very unique and special.
Are you a born again child of God? The Lord is in need of your offering of worship. There is no best place or location, you can do it right where you are. There is no best time, you can start right now in your heart and let it manifest.
Alright people, kindly join me in this worship song.

This is Afri-tunes community, this is week #156. Welcome to my blog, I am mamab and I am so glad to participate in the edition this week.
I decided to sing a song by the award winning Nigerian gospel artist Sinach, she is a strong and skilled international singer and a worship leader. The title of the song is 'I want more of you'. This is one of the songs that projected her music ministry. The song is a worship and a prayer.
In the song, the minister expressed how God made her life so beautiful. When God makes your life beautiful, you will continue to yearn for more. There is nothing greater than the kind of beauty that God himself gives a man. It is still very much available even today for everyone who will like to partake.
Can we make it our prayer today to seek more of God. The more of God we see the more our lives will become transformed and experience freshness.
Lyrics
You make my life so beautiful
I want more of You

Welcome to Hive Open Mic Week #255. This is your regular friend mamab on the platform. I am excited to bring to you my entry on the theme of the week which is "Good luck". I must say the boss @jesuslnrs and his team are doing incredibly well when it comes to theme selection. When you think you have seen it, they come with another superb one. Kudos 👍 and warm hugs guys.
Talking about good luck, it's something that has to do with favour and success. To relate to the theme, I chose to do the cover of this song by Buchi titled 'It is well'. Buchi is a seasoned Nigerian gospel artist who likes reggae.
The song is a prayer and an encouragement to everyone who is passing through a phase of difficulty and challenges. Challenges are bound to come as long as one is alive, but there is a comfort in the name of Jesus. It is well with your soul, body and spirit. Good luck to all you do.
Friends, let's face the giant on our way with this song:
Lyrics

This is Vibes Web3 Music Competition Week #30. I send you special greetings from my blog. Special regards to the senior men in the community, @lordbutterfly, @verbal-d and @silentscreamer for the incredible leadership they are giving in this community.
I am mamab, ready to share my vibe with you. I did the cover of a song in one of the Nigerian languages (West Africa) known as Hausa. The title of the song is "Nabaka" which means I give you by Jeremiah Gyang. The gospel music minister is one who is known for his unique style of presentation.
Nabaka is a song of surrender to Jesus. The lyrics expressed that man was meant to be dependent on God but because he depended on himself, we are still struggling today. We can still surrender our lives to Jesus to have better experiences.
The summary of the song in English language is Lord I give you my heart and soul. From heaven to earth the Lord is King, let's follow him with faith and with the whole of our strength.

Beautiful greetings to all the gentlemen and ladies of this great community. This is week #155 on Afri-tunes, my name remains mamab on hive. How is everyone doing this week? I believe great.
I will be sharing with you one of my favorite song some years back. I actually forgot the song until @joseph2014 presented it last week. The song is by Gratitude, the choir in COZA (Commonwealth of Zion Assembly) with the title "Your love".
The lyrics of the song expresses what the Lord has has done for us because of his love. God's love is full of warmth. When our eyes are open we can see it, when our ears and mouth are open we can hear and speak of his wondrous love.
Even as humans, we crave for the warmth of love from our family and friends. Without it we feel dry. God has availed his love for us in abundance and we can testify to that.
What would I do without your love
Look what you've done already

It's a beautiful time and season in the month of February, the shortest month of the year which is rolling away so fast. Welcome to Hive Open Mic Week #254, I remain your friend mamab.
The theme of the week is "Break away". Breaking away can mean different things to different people depending on the situation. There are times when we break away to avoid trouble or bad influence, there are times we break away because we have been hurt and disappointed, there are other times when we break away to face the giant blocking our path.
I presented the cover of a song I learnt right from my secondary school, I am not sure of who composed it. It is titled "I will never go back".
The song is an expression of a will after an unpalatable experience in the past. Egypt from the Bible is the land that God destroyed and devastated because of the stubbornness of their King Pharaoh. The Israelites suffered there greatly and cried until God sent Moses to deliver them.
In the current depiction, Egypt is like our rough past. Some people have suffered from many sicknesses, misfortunes and sorrows. Some have been jilted and hurt in relationships. When you finally find freedom after breaking away, you will never wish to return. It is actually good to break loose from every entanglement especially of sin and the devil. Going forward is better than going backward, progressing is better than regressing.

A big hi to all the friends and well wishers of Afri-tunes community. My name is mamab and I welcome you specially to week #154. It's another amazing week to share our favorite African tunes.
For a few weeks now I've been sharing my original songs, today is not an exception 🤗. I will be presenting an original titled "Grace". There are many times when we tend to take God for granted because we don't see him face to face flogging us when we disobey him. We are relaxed because God is not a man. Let us learn to respect God's grace upon our lives. It is ever sufficient but not for nonentities.
Lyrics
For since we became one with Him in dying as He did
Grace grace grace grace.
Thank you for coming around 🙏.

Hive Open Mic Week #253, I salute every gentleman and lady who is a member of this beautiful community. It has always been an interesting moment to participate in the weekly concert. My name is mamab.
The theme for this week is "dear diary". Diary is a book where we write down memories, dates and futuristic events. Visiting my diary, I picked a song to fit the theme and it's titled "How great thou art". It is actually a hymn. Many people have recorded it but I chose the one by Hillsong.
I chose the song because of the memories of God as an awesome wonder. I remember in 2015 when I was wheeled to the theater to undergo a surgery on my ear. It started 3 years earlier when I was in the University, I just woke up one day and noticed something like a boil close to my ear. It kept increasing in size and every medication I applied to end it proved abortive. After 3 years, my face started deforming. I usually plait hairstyles that fall to the front in order to cover that side of my face. Whenever I use scarf, I would make sure that side is not noticed.
I felt very uneasy and cried many times as I pray, thinking of what my face would turn out to be until one day I met my secondary school friend who noticed as I kept adjusting my scarf to cover my face. He asked to see my full face and was shocked at the sight.
To cut the long story, he introduced me to a senior doctor who examined me and recommended surgery. I was scared of many things including entering the theater and not coming out alive. I was placed on anesthesia and was unconscious for about 6 hours. When I woke up, I didn't see the growth again. God did it through the doctors. What a memory.
Thank you for checking.
