Hello friends on Afri-tunes community. I welcome you to my blog this week #171. It's an exciting moment to be able to bring my presentation to you. The week is almost over and I struggled with time to record a video, maybe because I don't just want to upload anything that comes my way. Thank God I finally succeeded and did a beautiful cover of a song by Sinach titled "A million tongues". It is a song of thanksgiving to God.

Trying to count the number of words to use to appreciate God for His mercies is out of point. Thanksgiving is one thing that cannot be overemphasized.

The theme for the week is "Holy Spirit". When I saw the theme, I was very happy because there are many songs that can easily fit to the person of the Holy Spirit. He is the third person of the Trinity and the comforter.

So, I chose this beautiful old and popular song by Bob Fitts titled "You are my all in all". I can't think of any better description of who the Holy Spirit is than to say He is my all in all. If you are looking for a friend, He is the best to have, so loving and caring. He listens whenever we talk to Him and He responds to our plight.

Hello lovely community members, this is mamab giving you a warm welcome to my blog this beautiful day. This is Afri-tunes week #170. How is everyone doing in this season so far? I believe God is faithful through all.

On this edition, I chose to present one of the songs that have been ringing on my mind recently by Moses Akoh. It is titled "Volume of the Book". Interestingly, I've never presented any song by this artist before, but I suddenly developed interest on this particular one recently. Maybe it is because of the depth of it's ministration to me personally.

Many times there are beautiful plans that God has in stock for us his children, and sometimes we know those plans but to work according to them could be challenging. I learnt that there is a level of grace you need faith to access. For you to achieve the plans and purposes of God written concerning you, you need the faith to access energy to keep moving no matter the distractions and burdens trying to weigh you down.

The song is a strong declaration of a decision to do the will of God. Charge your faith and let us ride together.

Hello everyone, this is mamab on Vibes Web3 Music Competition Week #35. How are you all doing? The year is far gone already as we have launched into the last month in the first half. I pray the month favours us 🙏.

On this edition, I decided to do the cover of a song by Tim Godfrey featuring IBK, one of his major backup singers. The title is "Victory". When the word victory is mentioned, what comes to mind is success, winning or having a headway. In this song, the victory is the priceless gift of Christ to us through grace. He went to the extra mile to save our wretched soul. He deserves the honour for the immeasurable sacrifice that made us victorious over sin and death.

A special welcome to everyone on my blog this week of Hive Open Mic week #268. I am your friend mamab. Every week has a fascinating theme and this week is not an exception. Shout out to all the bosses in the house for all they do.

To connect to the theme for the week "My choice", I chose to do so a song titled "I choose the way of Lord" by an anonymous artist. I knew the song right from my secondary school stage but didn't bother to know who composed it until when I tried to search for it online to present. I noticed different versions, so I couldn't place it on one person.

Choice as the name implies is something you willingly decide to accept. Choice has to do with the power of self will. This is one of the gifts that God gave to mankind, he doesn't force us to do or accept anything, He allows us to use our freedom and decide or choose what we want.

It is very important to always remember that every choice comes with a consequence. The song I chose says the way of the Lord is the way of wisdom so I choose the way of the Lord. There are many ways to different spheres of life in this world, but no way is as pure, holy and peaceful as the way of the Lord. The Bible says the name of the Lord is a strong tower, the righteous run into it and are safe.

Today I did the cover of a song by Tim Godfrey, a popular Nigerian gospel music minister known for his energy in singing and also featuring people. The title of the song is "Surely". The song is a prayer of goodness and mercy to follow us everyday and every time. I bet you will suffer in this life if they don't follow you. The life of victory is the life of favour and blessings. Imagine doing little and getting much results, that can only be attributed to the blessings of God.

There is also another declaration in the latter part of the song. It says we are free from every chain and limitations. In Christ we are truly free.

Welcome to Hive Open Mic Week #266, I am your friend mamab on hive. This is another exciting week where we are encouraged to share on "Gift to mom". I want to acknowledge the admins and moderators of this beautiful platform for selecting exciting themes for us every week.

Moms are wonderful beings. Dads are great too but today we are focusing on moms, maybe because women are moved a lot when they are celebrated and appreciated. Moms go through a lot to keep the family in a conducive atmosphere. Beginning from leaving one's father's house with beautiful goodies and siblings in the name of getting married is already a great move. Talking about carrying pregnancy, going to the delivery room, breastfeeding and raising the kids is a whole lot.

Moms experience sleepless nights many times because of the kids. There is no amount of gift that can be enough to appreciate them. But that does not mean it should just become an empty slogan because there are quite a number of things one can do for his mom.

As you grow in life and become a reasonable person, you need to look back and let your mom feel your impact. You can send cash gifts no matter how little, you can buy some clothes and wrappers time to time.

When you have plenty money build a house, buy a car and get her house helps around the house.

Hello friends, welcome to Afri-tunes community week #166. My name is mamab, I am so excited to be part of the community where we have the privilege of sharing our African songs. I want to salute the efforts of the moderators in keeping the community lively.

It has not been easy to keep up with the weekly posts but I make efforts anytime I find small space to put something together.

I decided to give the song the title "Agivye" which means we are grateful. The song is actually the translation of a popular Hausa song. What the song is saying is it is because of Jesus that we have reached today. Some people may be tempted to think sometimes that it is because they planned their lives, eat healthy and stock things and money that they alive.

There are times that all the plans doesn't work if not for the mercies of God. The song is reminding us that it is because of God's love and kindness that we are where we are, alive and moving.

I am specially calling on @ovye10, @fasacity, @joseph2014 and other Nasarawa indigenes to join me in the singing.

I've not heard @chidistickz singing in any language apart from English and Hausa before 🤔. Maybe this will encourage and challenge him to begin to enter into some Nigerian tribes like Igbo and others 😁.
