Police are investigating after a woman in East Germantown found her husband and his three dogs dead inside their home last night.
Officers were called to the 1900 block of Medary Street shortly after 6:30 p.m. for a report of an unresponsive male, police say.
The man's wife had come home and found him unconscious.

SEPTA's trolley tunnel is a step closer to reopening. But the transit agency still can't say for sure when that'll happen.
Repairs to the overhead catenary wires in SEPTA's trolley tunnel are now finished. Starting this weekend, crews will test to see whether the carbon sliders connecting the trolley pantograph to those wires are still damaging them.
For now, riders will have to continue to take the L into the city or use special shuttle buses.
