8 min - 🗞️ Australian Content Quotas for Streaming Platforms
The Australian Government is looking to introduce legislation to make streaming platforms create more Australian content.
On the surface, this doesn't seem like a bad idea, however… it's more Government interference, which essentially boils down to a 20% taxation on streaming platforms revenue. When has Government interference really done anything other than gain more control?

The Time Bandits Apple TV show could become another victim remade for 'modern audiences'. Paul reads an article on how the original Time Bandits co-creator and director, Terry Gilliam, is apparently displeased with the productions direction.
Hollywood director, Taikia Waititi, is in charge of the show, and Gilliam was apparently supposed to be on filming location for 2 weeks, but only lasted 3 days!

7 min - 🎬 The Revenant (2015) Movie Review - Grueling but Engrossing
The Revenant (2015) Paul's pick this week, as he was wanting to watch... a more modern western than the usual stuff Samir picks.
Say what you like about Leonardo DiCaprio, the guy can act!
The Revenant is a 2015 American epic western survival adventure film directed by Alejandro G. Iñárritu. The screenplay by Mark L. Smith and Iñárritu is based in part on Michael Punke's 2002 novel The Revenant, which describes frontiersman Hugh Glass's experiences in 1823, and which is based on the 1915 poem The Song of Hugh Glass. The film stars Leonardo DiCaprio and Tom Hardy. The film is also considered a remake of the film Man in the Wilderness (1971).

57 min - 🗞️ Razzie Awards apologise for nominating Ryan Kiera Armstrong for Worst ActressThe Razzie Awards, John Wilson, has issued an apology for nominating Ryan Kiera Armstrong for Worst Actress in the movie adaptation of Steven King's novel, Firestarter (2022).Will it matter? I think we can mostly agree that grovelling apologies will never matter to those that wish to be, and remain, offended. The potentially offended, if you will. Bear in mind that the Razzie's has been nominating child actors since 1982, only now are people offended?#TheRazzieAwards #Firestarter #RyanKieraArmstrongSourcehttps://screenrant.com/razzie-awards-apology-ryan-kiera-armstrong-worst-actress-nomination/---https://eleventy8.comFind us on Facebook: https://bit.ly/3TMUS1EFollow us on Twitter: https://bit.ly/3z9ZxTrWatch on YouTube: https://bit.ly/3TOGUw9Watch on Rumble: https://bit.ly/3D3LzDtWatch on Odysee: https://bit.ly/3DkQGzFListen on Apple Podcasts: https://apple.co/3CsUeAzListen on Google Podcasts: https://bit.ly/3E7Fg49Listen & Watch on Spotify: https://spoti.fi/3SMOuH6Buy Merch: https://bit.ly/3NQZ1jeDonate on Patreon: https://bit.ly/3VVQDT9Donate Bitcoin: bc1qqx6rcxuu8f0mrgx8mn7a7yp8sh507sqf7unjm2p5cdzhcfvrdauqa0zggl10 min
