MAPS Global Podcast

You won't want to miss this one! In this episode we sit down with our overseas missions base directors as well as our planting missions base director to the Himalayas. These frontier missionaries share their hearts for what God is doing in the 10/40 Window and give insight on how He's moving in the time leading up to the 50 Hours. Tune in for testimonies and faith building stories as we prepare to host God's presence for the 10th annual 50 Hours.

In this episode, R.A. Martinez talks about the second reason that MAPS Global exists: the Gospel is Powerful.

Check out this new podcast episode featuring R.A. Martinez & Aaron Custalow talking about the origin story of 50 Hours prayer meetings. Countless peoples and places have been profoundly impacted by the past ten years of 50 hours prayer meetings across the 10/40 Window. Hear what we are looking forward to for our TENTH ANNUAL 50 Hours prayer meeting this April 2024!

At the core of everything we do here at MAPS Global is this fundamental truth: Jesus is Worthy. But what does it mean when we ascribe "worth" to Jesus? Many times we can be prone to religious rhetoric when we say the word "worthy". It is not just the right answer to a Sunday School question. "Jesus is Worthy" is a cost statement that demands a response. In this episode, R.A. Martinez talks about the first "why" at MAPS; the matchless worth of the Lamb of God that is the fuel and the finish line of all we do.

Following up from the last podcast about pipelines vs. buckets: as we wrap up 2023, we have exciting news to share about how you can double your end of year gift for the Great Commission. R.A. Martinez shares about this incredible opportunity as we prep to move into 2024 with strength. Keep listening as the episode transitions into a sermon about pipelines from R.A. Martinez at First Friday in June 2023. P.S. we are taking a podcast hiatus and will return in February with a whole new set of guests and discussions...See you next year!

R.A. Martinez sits down to discuss questions that come up often: what is tithing, should I do it and is it different than New Testament giving? In this episode, we walk through both the Old and New Testaments, looking at the examples of what God requires of his people when it comes to generosity. We believe that God is raising up pipelines for His purposes, not buckets for personal blessing.

God is a team and teams are a reflection of His glory. Jesus sent teams, the Apostles worked on teams, New Testament churches were led by teams, and sent out teams. Diverse and highly functioning teams are essential for leadership and for the fulfillment of the Great Commission. Join us on this podcast as we sit down with R.A. Martinez to discuss the non-negotiable of team leadership and keys that he has found to build successful teams.

R.A. Martinez sits down and discusses our perspective on the current war in the Middle East. Many are only seeing it from a geo-political perspective and seeking to take "sides". However, there is another perspective to look from and pray from. As a spiritual family we are praying and responding through the lens of God's heart for mercy and the Great Commission. Jesus is inviting us to contend for mercy in the midst of increasing conflict in the nations and to open a door in the region for the Gospel.
