A track I worked on recently, but never really “finished” to my satisfaction. Still felt like sharing it, though :)

Wasn't able to make a smart song, so I made this. Contains some informative penguin facts.

This time around, the tempo is a slower and the main instrument is a bit more pleasant. The next step is to add more instruments, so there is a bit more atmosphere without it getting too crowded.

It's built in JavaScript using Tone.js and the Web Audio API, so it runs in the browser.

I've tried similar things like this many times the last 10 years or so, but I never really got this far. There's still plenty of things I want to tweak, but this current state sounds nice and I wanted to share it.

During a thunderstorm recently, I was playing some (weird)guitar through a volume pedal, compressor, and a lot of reverb + delay. I put my phone in the door opening to my balcony.

First song with a real instrument in a long time. I had some latency issues while recording, but I think I sorted that out.

Inspired by regularly messing around with with a looper and lots or reverb, post-rock and other stuff.

No amp or effects pedals btw, I used Guitar Rig and other plugins for that.
