How Sheila works with her clients:
"I just, I love it when people come to me with an idea,
but they don't know how to get where they want to go. So we just kind of sit down and build a roadmap for
them. And like you said, we kind of look at how they're doing on the inside. You know, are they really ready?
Is this what they really want to do? And do they really understand the commitment to it? Because operating
and owning a business is a huge commitment. It's not just, you know, the cute stuff that you see on
Facebook or social media or in advertising. It's hard work, and it's dirty, and it's, you know, frustrating some
days. So, you know, I just try to work with people and make sure that they're ready to take that step and that we build them up for success.”
How did this building based company expand services in 2020; to service business owners globally and still answer the need to help them grow “from the inside out”?
“So now we're not limited to the Gulf coast. You know, I have people that I'm working with over in Europe and
Australia and all around the US, so it's been just an incredibly exciting time for me, but, you know, when you
look at our list of services that we have, we started with just basic business customer service, medical
type courses that we taught. But now we branched out; we do personnel development, we do business
strategies, we do human resources. We do virtual human resources for people. We even do health and
wellness, and I'm a yoga instructor and Tai Chi instructor.
So, you know, we meet people where they are and provide the services that they need, that, that will really help them be
successful, whether it be a personal journey that they're on or a business journey.”
How to reinvent, find your voice, take your career, business stand these days
“And Margo, you know, this is the age of the expert. Any life lesson that you've had in
education, you have anything that people come to you, and they ask your opinion, or for help a
repeatedly, if people are coming to you and asking you the same question over and over, well, guess what,
you're an expert in that area. You know, if people are coming to you for your opinion and help, you can turn
that into a business online virtually, and you can do things, not just in your community or with your friends.
But I mean, you can do that globally because people now are looking for more people that do have those
experiences that have been through.”
