The documentary “A Thousand Cuts” profiles the courageous journalist Maria Ressa, who leads The Rappler news website in the Philippines. Filmmaker Ramona Diaz follows Ressa and her team as they investigate the regime of autocratic President Rodrigo Duterte in the face of intimidation, death threats and legal harassment.
