Is anger a social poison or a powerful spark to take action?
In this podcast, Todd and Marie approach this topic from both directions. Together they address the pros and cons of getting angry.
Last Sunday night, Todd was called out to help a lady get into her apartment after the concierge insisted the her keys were not with him. After a 45 minute trek across town from his home to the front desk where a smug security guard sat, Todd peered just over the man’s shoulder into a box containing a small envelop with the lady’s keys inside.
“Right there”, Todd said as he pointed to the envelop. The concierge quickly apologized as Todd helped the lady with her bags. Did Todd tear the concierge a new a—hole on the way out? Check out the Video Podcast to find out!
How NOT To Be Angry
As any one ever given you the Silent Treatment because they were angry with you? Todd and Marie address this little passive aggressive tactic shine the light on how it is a narcissistic and cowardly way to approach being angry.
You or someone you know has uttered the words, “My boyfriend cheated on me” followed by, “Men are all pigs”. Never be angry with someone just because a person that looked like them (i.e. gender, colour, nationality) did something crappy to you in the past.
Never talk crap about someone you are angry with when they are not there to tell their side, you’ll look like a dick.
Don’t be angry by proxy. Just because someone is angry with someone else, there is no need to jump onboard if you don’t have a ‘dog in the fight’.
Are you angry or hungry? Maybe you just have low blood sugar.
