That God Damn helmet rule is what undid the Penguins…not any of the poor play or turnover or not making a big save…it was the damn helmet rule.
Mark talks about the report from multiple people that Sid passed a concussion test before game 6 and says it’s fair game to speculate as to why he didn’t play if they won’t give us any more information.
Mark then reacts to the apparent contract that was offered to Malkin and Letang according to Rob Rossi and how he finds it hard to believe. He then makes it very clear that Sid cannot be the GM when it comes to decisions with this core and the UFA’s this offseason.
He continues to talk about the Sid report and how they need to change this team or else they will be doomed for early exits or non-playoff appearances for years to come.
