He also gets into our old friend Todd Haley’s first win in his USFL debut yesterday against our hometown Maulers. Haley got creative with some play calling and took a shot at his former city on twitter after the game as well.
Gene Steratore, the host of the Great Sports debate tonight joins Tim to talk about the debate and some referee-ing questions as well with one of Pittsburgh’s favorite sons.

Metz starts hour 3 talking a bit about what he likes off the new Ghost album before answering some twitter questions about the Penguins, which a lot have to do with the goalie situation as you can imagine.
Metz gets back into some of the things that have been plaguing the Penguins of lately and what he thinks they can do to correct that.
Tyler Kennedy, ex Penguins and Stanley Cup Champion with the team joins Metz for a lively hockey conversation about the Penguins current state of affairs and if TK thinks the team can snap out of the funk before the playoff run is upon them.
Metzer wraps up the final moments of the show recapping the festivities and discuss one last thing about Ovi and Sid that he wants to point out.

Metz kicks off the second hour getting more into the numbers of Tristan Jarry before being sidelined with his injury now and how important he was for this team all year long. He also talks about when Jarry might be able to return, and how deep the Penguins would have to go into the playoffs for that return to become a reality.
He then gets into Crosby and Rackells play of late and how Rackell has been a good fit for the most part since joining the team.
The Hall of Famer Mike Lange makes his visit to the Mark Madden Show to talk with Metz about the East, Desmith taking the mantle as the goalie with Jarry out, and much more great hockey talk with the best to ever do it.
