The lockdowns were hard on all of us, particularly for the people of Victoria who went through some of the longest and toughest lockdowns in the world.

There is narrative in the world at the moment that seems to want to teach young women that their default emotion should be fear.

Afraid of men.

And women have the right to feel this, however as a father I have taught my daughters to be strong, not fearful.

Careful & aware when appropriate, but not afraid.

A strong woman will not allow an abusive person to become part of her life.

A strong woman will see a bully for who he is and reject him outright.
