For Thanksgiving week I'll be reading The Courtship of Miles Standish, Henry Wadsworth Longfellow's narrative poem about a love triangle among the Pilgrims. You wouldn't expect a love triangle among the Pilgrims, but when there's only one woman of marrying age in the colony, things happen.
