🔊 About Spitalfield:
Formed in Chicago in 1998, Spitalfield became a staple of the early 2000s emo and pop-punk scene. The band’s signature blend of melodic hooks and introspective lyrics quickly earned them a loyal fanbase. Their breakthrough album, Remember Right Now (2003), released on Victory Records, is often hailed as one of the standout records of the era, capturing the emotional turbulence and raw energy that defined the genre. Songs like “I Loved the Way She Said ‘L.A.’” and “Stolen From Some Great Writer” became anthems for fans and solidified Spitalfield's place in the scene. After disbanding in 2007, the group reunited for special shows and anniversaries, including their recent tours celebrating Remember Right Now. Mark Rose has also pursued a successful solo career, continuing to impact the music world with his songwriting.
