4:40pm- According to a report from Mediaite, Sen. Mark Warner (D-VA)—who serves as vice chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee—is attempting to delay a vote on Donald Trump’s nominee for Director of National Intelligence, Tulsi Gabbard. Warner cited Gabbard’s relationship with former Syrian authoritarian leader Bashas al-Asad. But, as Rich notes, a group representing the victims of Syrian terror recently announced its support for Gabbard’s nomination.
