    The S&P 500 hit an all-time high over hopes of further rate cuts by the Federal Reserve this year. Investors now await further progress on talks between the United States and China ahead of a meeting of the two leaders at the G20 summit in Japan on June 28-29.

    At 7.15 AM, the SGX Nifty futures traded 0.2 percent lower at 11,863, indicating a flat start for the Sensex and the Nifty 50.

    Asian markets remained little changed, while US stocks advanced on rising oil prices following attacks on tankers in the Gulf of Oman.

    On the macro front, India’s Wholesale Price Index-based inflation data will be released today after 12 PM.

    At 7.10 AM, the SGX Nifty futures traded 23 points, or 0.19 percent, lower at 11,897, indicating a negative start for the Sensex and the Nifty 50.

    At 7.40 AM, SGX Nifty an early indicator of the Nifty 50's trend in India, fell 19 points, or 0.16 percent, at 11,906, indicating a weak start for the Sensex and the Nifty 50.

    At 7.45 AM, SGX Nifty, an early indicator of the Nifty 50's trend in India,  traded 18 points higher at 11,959.50, indicating a flat start for the Sensex and the Nifty 50.
