Ever wonder what those "duck lip"/ blue steel influencer-types are actually creating by doing self-interested-selfies throughout their day on social media?

Which is probably A) why their profiles don’t interest you and B) why you have been resistant to posting on your own social media accounts.

Good news, you don’t have to try to be "interesting" to create an online business (not that you aren’t interesting … but you know what I mean!)

All you have to do is to be interested.

Exploration: the action of exploring an unfamiliar area.

When I looked at the process someone must go through to create a successful online business, it was obvious to me that the first phase would be that of exploring.

This is something we cover inside my membership group, the Global Practitioners!

Phase 1: In the Exploration Phase - You are asking questions and discovering more about yourself, what you would like to offer and who you would like to offer it to.

Where are you currently spending the majority of your time in your business?

Are you getting caught up in the little things, the thrills and frills? Or are you prioritizing setting up the core elements of your online business?

If you focus on all the "nice to have" things and not the core of what you actually require to set up or do, then you won't get the result you are after.

Are you being efficient in your business?

Before you can become efficient, you need to be effective.  

To be effective, you need to know your clients well; what their needs, wants and desires are and how you can best serve them.

Maybe you are just doing what is sufficient, to tick the box to say that you've done it. But is this enough to truly create a successful business?

Taking time to invest in you is not only fun and essential self care, it makes your treatment sessions more powerful and can increase the return in your business.

Sometimes it's a monetary investment, but sometimes it's an energetic investment. Are you taking the time to care for your body, remove yourself from stressful environments, or investing in learning?

Are you also honoring that investment and acknowledging it? If you do, you will start to see the value in the work you do, and other people will too.

So, what can you do today to invest in you?

In this episode, I reveal something I've never shared publicly before, about a big win I had in my business just last year that triggered an enormous amount of doubt in me and my abilities, and made me want to hide and just quit. 

It's a very vulnerable moment for me to speak so openly about this experience, but I'm willing to share it in hopes that my story will give you the courage to let go of doubt and keep moving forward in those times you just want to quit.

Growing your business means reaching more people and making more money. So, what does an email list have to do with it?

In this episode we cover questions like: Do you need a list? Do you need a large list? Is having only social followers good enough to grow your business?

And, I tell you why I recently changed my point of view about how to grow my email list and what has worked for me instead.

Have you exhausted your existing audience? Here are four signs that you have done just that:

1. You're having to create new classes or courses or offers in order to make sales.
2. You're having to deliver the class LIVE over and over vs. creating an online course that can stand alone without a live competent of support necessarily.
3. You have decent engagement but sales are declining.
4. You've been reducing the price of your class/course or program OR putting on frequent flash sales in order to make a profit.

The problem is that you are not generating new warm leads.

If you are not constantly growing your audience then you are stuck in a cycle where the only way to continue to make more money is to add or make changes to courses or classes that your audience has already bought or to come up with something completely new.

So, what are the top 5 signs that it's time to create an online course?

1. You're looking for a way to grow or scale your current business and don't know how.
2. You have a skill, method, or way to help someone that is unique and proven to work.
3. You have one-on-one clients but want to work less.
4. You have people coming to you asking for help/ advice about something repeatedly.
5.  You know that there is something MORE for you, you know somewhere deep down you could be creating greater.
